Anyone who has done any studying outside of a public school knows this. Hitler persecuted Jews. Muslims persecute Jews. They were natural allies and he was welcomed in the Middle East as a hero and that legacy endures.

Muslims actually believe the world is divided into two spheres: 1) Dar al-Salam which essentially means House or Abode of Peace in Arabic, and 2) Dar al-Harb which essentially means the House of War.
Countries not under Sharia law are in Dar al-Harb and are, therefore, subject to warfare, violence. Those under Sharia law are at peace (even if they are actually experiencing constant war) because they are obedient to Allah’s law. So, for the Muslim, peace is about being obedient to Allah. This sort of massive ignorance is to be expected in the Arabic world, however. Remember, Spain, in one year, publishes more translations of foreign language books, than the entire Arab speaking world has done in 1400 years. You read that correctly - in one year.
