How much money can the Obama Administration seize from banks before triggering a global financial panic? U.S. Department of Justice lawyers decided to find out by running a two-week experiment at Germany’s Deutsche Bank. The experiment appears to have ended on Friday, but not before Washington had ignited a run on one of the world’s largest financial institutions.
The government threat to Deutsche Bank’s safety and soundness began on Sept. 15. That’s when the Journal reported that Justice was demanding an eye-watering $14 billion to resolve an investigation of the bank’s sale of mortgage-backed securities prior to the 2008 financial panic.
Deutsche Bank then had to acknowledge the size of this government stick-up as its stock price proceeded to drop more than 20% in a fortnight. The lack of exuberance among investors was entirely rational. Washington’s proposed withdrawal represented most of the bank’s market capitalization.

The Feds are running out of marks. Even with a large tax increase on the wealthy, their coffers aren’t filling up. They told us about the largest decrease of deficit under this administration. But today the deficit for 2016 is back up to $619B and going higher.
My parents are pretty ‘financially astute’. They withdrew all savings and the safety deposit box this week. They put it safely elsewhere. They fear ‘something is up’.

The story has been buried by the propaganda press and embargoed for national release. They were arrested by the county sheriff and prosecuted under South Carolina’s anti-Klan law for rioting. The local rev-runds went ballistic that black thugs were prosecuted using the anti-klan law.

Possibly. But we are really close to election time and I don’t think the libs want a breakdown on their watch when they have been selling a saved economy run by their superior intelligence. You and I both know they super inflated the economy while destroying the housing market in the 90’s 20’s blaming all of it on the incoming president so they could garnish another piece of the puzzle to take total control. But that’s how libs play the game. And in this case, they can’t have it both ways even with a lying media to try to back them. Too much BS even for an uneducated, don’t care till it bites you, populous.
