Rohrabacher Blasts Paul Ryan, GOP Leaders as ‘Cowardly’
Breitbart ^ | 10.11.16 | Joel Pollack

Posted on 10/11/2016 3:43:02 PM PDT by pissant

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) said Monday that Speaker of the House Paul Ryan was “cowardly” for announcing that he would not defend Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, and would not campaign for his election. Ryan made his announcement on a conference call with fellow members of the Republican caucus on Monday morning, just hours after Trump had turned in a strong debate performance against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in St. Louis on Sunday night.

“Leaders are supposed to stand firm and solid in moments of crisis,” Rohrabacher told the Orange County Register. “Instead, he’s in a panic. It’s not good leadership. … I think the Republicans who are backing away are gutless. We don’t have to just be concerned about saving House seats. We have to be concerned about saving the United States of America.” Other Republican congressmen from Orange County have been critical of Trump’s comments but none has withdrawn their political support.

I still maintain that we should strike now and begin forming a 'new' conservative party. It is no use trying to reform the RNC. Nor is it any use joining the Libertarian party. The time to strike is now. Then we will have backing for Trump if he is elected. Conservative republican senators and representatives can move into the new party where they will feel welcomed. Leave the RINOs to rot on the vine in a bankrupt party with no support. If we act now in 2 years we can have a platform and be ready to 2018 & 2020! Think it over and decide! As Trump says " What do we have to lose?" Do we want to be setting here again in 2018 & 2020 holding the bag?

Thank you, Dana R. With Ryan bucking I felt this weekend something like William Wallace seeing the hood pulled up to reveal Robert the Bruce working against him.

The wife and I just called Rep Ed Royce office and told him support Dana Rohrabacher’s statement of calling Ryan a coward. The are both Orange County Republicans.

We have a very good descriptive word for the GOPe Ryans in our congress!

It starts with a p and ends in y, and it has 5 letters.

The 7 letter plural version ends with ies and replaces the y.

No need to insult and offend women because of this d!ckless self-absorbed idiot's behavior. He wasn't cowardly. He dove in head-first without a thought of waiting to see what the Republican base might think of it.

Ryan is a reckless idiot, but what do you expect from someone who rushed to pass Obama's budget so he could move on to dealing with "conservative" issues. He is so conceited that he thinks he can fool the public.

No he is in the midst of planned self-sabotage. He is cluelessly conceited with not an idea of what is actuallly going on politically. Where does he think he is when the basket of deplorable think him more despicable than any democrat.

Need Tea Party Patriots now!

Those Tea Party Patriots can change their party affiliation and force the republicans into a minority then they would have some leverage, but they won't.

That’s my guy! Good to hear he’s not one of “those” congresscritters.

I actually debated him on Twitter once. A sitting Congressman! For that alone he has my respect.

Rohrabacher gets 60%+ in his elections.
He doesn’t have to worry about reelection.

Other Reps do.

Actually, many of the most vocal never Trumpers are in safe seats. Charlie Dent, Lindsay Grahamnesty, etc.

Other donors to Saffuri's PAC whose houses or offices were raided by Greenquest, say federal authorities, include Wael al-Khairo, Ahmad al-Shaer, Ahmad Khatib and Ali Abuzakook - all Barzinji employees - as well as Mohammad Salim Attia, Hibba Abugideiri and Hussam Osman, who worked for the Saudi-funded International Institute of Islamic Thought, and Fakri Barzinji, Altogether, say federal authorities, Saffuri raised slightly more than $28,000 for the AMC-sponsored PAC and distributed it to members of Congress including Rohrabacher and Democrats McKinney, David Bonior and John Conyers of Michigan, James Traficant of Ohio, Peter DeFazio of Oregon, and Nick Rahall of West Virginia. What united all the recipients, who ranged from far-left Democrats to libertarians, was their support for Palestinian causes and their hostility to the state of Israel.

The disappearance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi has sparked controversy and the spread of media rumors across the world, including the doubtful information from Turkish sources and wrongful accusations against the Saudi General Consul’s son in Istanbul. According to US media expert Patrick Poole, American media has been just as involved in reporting leaks from multiple unreliable sources. Poole noted that Yahoo News published an article Friday quoting Khaled Saffuri, one of Khashoggi’s associates, that said President Trump's criticism of journalists may have inspired the Crown Prince to have Khashoggi "murdered." -------US media expert warns of American source behind Khashoggi rumors Al Arabaiya (English) ^ | 13 October 2018 (Saturday) | Staff Writer, Al Arabiya English Posted on 10/16/2018, 7:00:37 PM by Texas Fossil

A talented fund-raiser and behind-the-scenes power broker, [Khaled] Saffuri [see KASHOGGI] built bridges to politicians in both parties by generously contributing to their election campaigns, from California libertarian Rep. Dana Rohrabacher in the GOP to Rep. Cynthia McKinney, the hard-left Georgia Democrat. He has worked to get President Bill Clinton to intervene in Bosnia. He has taken members of Congress on trips to Arab countries. He has lobbied hard but quietly against pro-Israel legislation. In 1998, along with Republican activist Grover Norquist, Saffuri established the Islamic Institute in Washington with the stated purpose of promoting free-market ideals in the Muslim world and of bringing American Muslims into the Republican Party. ------- Saffuri's Ties to Terror Suspects Insight ^ | 2-23-2004 | Kenneth R. "Look, I work with people who also do wonderful things," [Khaled] Saffuri [see DANA ROHRABACHER] says when asked about the terrorist ties of NMBA donors. "Look at Abduwahab [al-Kebsi]," Saffuri's assistant at the Islamic Institute. "Abdu is doing a project to promote democracy for the National Endowment for Democracy in Iraq. Another staff member of the institute is working for the Department of Homeland Security. Another staffer is working for USAID [U.S. Agency for International Development]. If there was one shred of evidence that we were a security risk, they would be talking to me, not you. I am invited to meet with [FBI Director Robert] Mueller at the FBI, on average, every six months. I think if there is a problem with me, I wouldn't be at these meetings." When asked by Wall Street Journal reporter Glenn Simpson [see FUSION GPS?!] if he thought radical Muslim groups such as the friends and associates of Khaled Saffuri were exercising "undue influence" at the White House, Karl Rove simply shrugged and replied, "No."

To: blueplum -- So girlygirl has been at her lobbying for some time. -- Some "new," and some "old."
A new complaint filed by investor Bill Browder with the Treasury's Office of Foreign Asset Control alleges that California Rep. Dana Rohrabacher and his staff director, Paul Behrends, violated US sanctions when they accepted anti-Magnitsky Act material from the Russian prosecutor's office and used it to try to undermine the legislation in Washington.
Browder, who spearheaded the passage of the Magnitsky Act in 2012, said Rohrabacher's anti-Magnitsky efforts amounted to providing a service to Russia's deputy prosecutor general Victor Grin, who was sanctioned as part of the Magnitsky Act and would benefit from its repeal.
Rohrabacher's spokesman, Ken Grubbs, responded to the complaint Tuesday morning, characterizing Browder's OFAC filing as an attempt to obfuscate Russia's side of the story and slamming the wealthy investor as "a billionaire tax exile." ...
Reached for additional comment on Grubbs' statement, Browder said that in spite of seeing "documentary evidence showing that Sergei Magnitsky was murdered," Rohrabacher "has been knowingly spreading false information from the Kremlin that Sergei died of natural causes in order to assist certain sanctioned Russian individuals who want to get off the Magnitsky list." Browder, who called Rohrabacher's actions last summer "brazen" violations, added that is behavior is "not consistent with his role as a US Congressman" and needs to be "examined thoroughly and fearlessly."
Dana Rohrabacher slams Bill Browder for complaint - Business Insider - Jul. 25, 2017

US authorities have been going after the alleged perpetrators and beneficiaries of the fraud since Magnistky died in 2009. The court filing made by Prevezon, led by businessman Denys Katsyv, alleges: "Browder and his agents engaged in a series of misrepresentations to execute the fraud, to distance themselves from it, and to pin it on the Russian officials investigating Browder for a separate tax fraud his companies committed."

see what I mean? Rohrabacher was one of the two identified Reps, McCain being the other. I’d have to check my old posts for the exact wording but he had said girlygirl left him ‘official Russian’ (info/propaganda/briefing) regarding the Global Mag Act. (I remembered that because it was almost the same wording as the accusation against Don Jr.- that girlygirl had given him ‘official’ Russian (whatever)
But not a peep or a squeek about a single Dem meeting or a single one that received the same ‘official russian’ (whatever) girlygirl was handing out to whoever she could.
