Here Is What Donald Trump Wants To Do In His First 100 Days (Turtleman & Swamp Dweller McConnell)

On Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell mostly made nice with Trump but also shot down or expressed little enthusiasm in some of his plans. On Trump's proposal to impose term limits on Congress, McConnell said, "It will not be on the agenda in the Senate." McConnell has been a long-standing opponent of term limits, as NPR's Susan Davis reports. "I would say we have term limits now — they're called elections."

McConnell also threw some cold water on Trump's infrastructure plans, calling it not a top priority.

McConnell did say repealing Obamacare is a "pretty high item on our agenda" along with comprehensive tax reform and achieving border security "in whatever way is the most effective." But he also declined to discuss the Senate's immigration agenda further.

Swamp dweller Mitch McConnell is already pushing back on Trump's 100-day plan with respect to Term Limits. Part of Trump's efforts to "drain the swamp" is activating a constitutional amendment to impose term limits. Obviously, Mitch and the boys aren't interested in draining anything other than a few martini's, and are pretty comfortable living in the swamp.

This election wasn’t a mandate for the Turtle.

It was a mandate for Trump.

The Turtle had better get with the plan soon.

Where’s the link to the statistic that shows over the last few elections, the Politburo had a higher turnover rate than the US Senate?

I think the Turtle was re-elected in 2012.
He has 4 more years in his term as Senator.

Kentucky f’ed up and reelected him in 2014. Comes up again in 2018. Can we get right next time? Or recall him now? Better yet, repeal Article XVII and add recall.

Okay, there’s another thread on this. Someone says Article 5 of the Constitution, convention of states to introduce a constitutional amendment.

Who can tell me what action we need to take to assist our President Trump in draining the swamp?

He’s nearly 75...God may impose His own ‘term limit’ program in the near future.

It looks like only the states can assist President Trump in this matter. He will get no help in Congress from either party.
