I’m good with giving him a shot. Was very disappointed his committee didn’t actually DO anything. Maybe, though if he feels supported, he would.

Bolton is a great guy, an American, who takes no crap. He will be perfect.

“I hope Trump overlooks all neocons, especially Bolton.”

absolutely. We need foreign policy realists, not utopians eager to play Risk in real life.

No way Trey.

He did the unthinkable.

He let Hillary get away w/ murder at the Benghazi hearing......by bowing to her wishes to testify in public.

He’s not sharp enough to understand the fallout of his actions.

Gowdy is the Rep

Yea, that's what I meant to say. So what happens to his seat?

having prosecuted Mafia members

Not just Mafia members. He took down the entire core of the Mafia -- the whole Mafia Commission -- all four of the NYC crime family bosses. He would have taken down the fifth one (Paul Castellano) if John Gotti hadn't whacked him first.

So yes make Rudy The AG, but let Trey be the AG in charge of criminal justice prosecutions and over the various U S Attorneys in the Judicial Districts. Put someone with a brain over the civil rights division who will treat true hate crimes against whites the same as those against Muslims and Blacks, etc.

Not a bad idea and a very nice analysis. As a Gowdy fan I could go for this scenario. But Gowdy might not. OTOH if Gowdy wants to a Senator one day, as he should, then this might work out for him.

Dr. Benjamin Carson for Surgeon General. Also, delete the Department of Health and Human Services.

Trey Gowdy would be fantastic.

Bolton would be fine but he has about him a mist of pronounced maverickism which might not suit.

Be great to see Bolton as a player at State.

A big part of the problem in D.C. is promoting talkers rather than doers. AG is a big tough job running a big tough department. There is one of you to do the job of 50 and you have to set priorities and delegate to get stuff done.

Giuliani has demonstrated that he is an effective executive. He put together the op to clean up New York's streets and proceeded to do so.

We have to get past the dueling policy papers and talking points written by 25 year old's with Masters degrees in public policy. There are real professions like doctor, lawyer, engineer, businessman, scientist, etc. Public Policyist is not a profession. It is a college goof-off game, like for instance, victimology.

"We are on a razors edge right now as far as control is concerned."

With a lead of over 30 seats, that is a very dull razor.

I hear you. I’ve kind of wanted to see Rudy run the investigation into the corruption and the building of the RICO case. Whether that be special prosecutor or something else matters not.

I voted against Trey purely as a protest. He is Chamber of Commerce cheap labor at heart. Trump’s problem will be finding enough ideologically like souls in the GOP to be able to govern.

I think people have a misperceptions of what Congress can truly do. They cannot and I repeat CANNOT prosecute. Tell me who knows the law and is not successful at prosecution of law than Gowdy? I’ll give you a hint....as Federal prosecutor he never lost a single case

Rudy. Tried, tested, and true!

What has Gowdy accomplished against The Regime besides talk?

All Show and No Go. He hasn’t got any convictions after almost 8 years of investigating Holder, or anyone else.
