They had a flawed, unappealing product to sell but thought they had a bull market and got arrogant. Simple as that. Comey tried his best to tamp down any controversy regarding Hillary Clinton. He didn’t create the situation but he sure did try to hide it. Not Comey’s fault.
Sort of like blaming the police officer if you get a DUI.

It was the “straw that broke the camel’s back”. And just like that straw, it is not really what broke the camel’s back. It was simply a thing of almost no substance that, when added to a crushing mountain of substance, became the tipping point.
If there had been no server, there would have been no Comey announcement.

Bernie was at least honest about his beliefs, and I don’t think he was a serial liar like Clinton.
Granted, they are STUPID beliefs, but at least he’s not criminal.
It would have been a whole different race between him and Trump.
I am actually stunned that Comey was not fired by 0bama, did not resign on his own, or did not die suddenly of “natural causes” about Thursday of last week.
Comey saved H->!’s ample butt back in July.

If Hillary wasn’t such an unprincipled POS she may have actually won.
Then again, if she wasn’t an unprincipled POS more than likely no one would have ever heard of her.

Yep. Hillary spent her time at $5000-a-plate private fundraisers. Bernie would have visited the mill towns instead, as Trump did. That might have made a difference in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
But Bernie is a proud socialist/communist. Many rank-and-file union folks don't go for that.
It would have been interesting, for sure.
