Obama Crushes Conspiracy: No Evidence that Russia Tampered with Votes in Election

President Barack Obama emphatically denounced the conspiracy theory saying Russians successfully tampered with the American voting process.
“We were frankly more concerned in the run up to the election to the possibilities of vote tampering, which we did not see evidence of,” he said. “And we’re confident that we can guard against.”
During an interview with the Daily Show’s Trevor Noah, Obama downplayed the hack of a private email account of Clinton campaign chief John Podesta, defending his administration for revealing in October that the Russian government was connected.
“None of this should be a big surprise,” Obama said, “Russia trying to influence our elections dates back to the Soviet Union.”
Obama dismissed the hack and the leaked emails as “not very interesting” and lacking “explosive” revelations. He puzzled as to why it was an “obsession” by the news media despite the knowledge that the Russians were responsible.

Can someone please explain to me why its ok to leak a private conversation Trump had which was recorded and released without his consent but its not ok to leak private democrat emails?
Btw what happened to the parade of gropegate women that suddenly emerged right before the election? They were obviously very traumatized but still had the courage to speak out. But they all just suddenly disappeared. Maybe they hooked up with Bill and got groped for real.
The amusing aspect is that the CIA KNOWS that it was Russian hackers. The CIA!!
Is that the same CIA that sat on bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan for months on end only to be STUNNED to learn, upon entry, that there were a half-dozen computers inside hooked up to the Internet.
Gosh. And they had been sure just a few months earlier that the guy was off-line living in a cave because, gosh, they’d looked all around the web themselves for 10 FRICKIN YEARS unable to find any electronic links to him.

What’s in the leaks is unflattering about many members of the House and Senate; of course they all want everyone to focus on anything other than the content of those emails!

IF Putin had indeed hacked Hillary and the dems, it would be invaluable material used to coerce a US President. That was always thought to be Hillary Clinton until the very end....long after the Wikileaks releases became public.
Why would he give the information away and lose his potential to bribe the most powerful person on the planet ? He would not. Putin was likely ticked that Wikilieaks stoled his thunder.
