Carter is therefore the last living president who was not a Globalist. He didn’t do a good job of leading America (IMO) but he did try to do his best for America.

Carter was naive. Obama's naive. That can be as bad as having bad intentions.

Globalism really didn't come into its own until the 90s.

Back in the 70s it was still just something on the far horizon.

Carter and Reagan could talk as though the national economy was something self-contained.

It's harder for politicians who came afterwards.

Agreed. If the others do not show up, they will have showed their true intentions and of course, doing what they have been doing all along. What a bunch of (fill in the blank) if they do not attend.

I’m sure that Trump has known everything in Roger Stone’s book about the Bush Crime Family, all along. The Nazi employment, the murders, the drug running, the pedophilia, the globalism.

I would be very surprised if W does not attend...

That would seem out of character for him...

Probably more fake news...

Bush sr. ....I hope he is still alive come Jan 20th...!

Nice scene! A memory maker. Wearing that same hat. That hat and the stare VP Chaney needed no words to make his point.

The reality of Uniparty continues to reveal itself in the aftermath of this election.

Yes, if he weren’t a true outsider, the powers would be flocking to him as their standard-bearer.

I’d give Bush 41 a pass due to age and infirmity. Bush 43 should attend. Carter is clinging to relevance, Clinton similar although probably some butt-hurt.

Re: W. Defending himself against the lies;
I tend to think GWB just simply ‘ran out of gas’ in the second term, and got overwhelmed with the constant sh*t-shower of criticism and coordinated Shark Attacks from the media. This went on day after day after day.
This exhaustion under the crushing weight of bogus attack thing also happened to our friend Sarah Palin. It was simply too much, this bloodsport of media hatred. Thus, she had to retreat for a while.

For GWB, I recall those New York plays openly advertised and performed, depicting his assassination. NO ONE WAS PROSECUTED!! (as far as I know) for what I thought was a Federal Offense! I think since W. began his presidency by having it settled in the court system, he always (wrongfully) felt somewhat unvalidated and unaccepted by the majority of the voters.
This may account to why he and Rove never did aggressively confront these people on their crimes and on their bad manners.

I spent the first 20 years of my adult life defending this nation from Marxist Socialism. That makes me morally and ideologically unable to vote for a Democrat, any Democrat for any office.

Trump wasn't my guy, not even my second choice. Once he won the nomination he became my guy.

The more these establishment Republicans and RINOs act like this the more Trump is my guy and the less likely I will ever vote Republican again.

“I’m with you. And I’ll really be surprised if Cheney stays away...health permitting, of course”

I agree. Cheney has supported Trump right along. I think only health issues would keep him away.

Trump is better off without any members of the Bush-Clinton family attending.

This year, I think we have all learned once and for all how low class the “classy” Bush family actually is. There were indications before, but now we know for sure.

GWB can happily consort with the Clinton Crime Family, but can’t attend Trump’s inauguration?
