Over the weekend, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski were given extraordinary access to President Trump and his foreign policy team. On today’s Morning Joe, they gave their takeaways from their interview of the president and a number of his senior advisors.
Scarborough painted a picture of White House staffers in a battle with the senior foreign policy team. Scarborough singled out Stephen Miller, saying “you’ve got a very young person in the White House on a power trip thinking that you can just write executive orders and tell all of your cabinet agencies to go to hell.”

Based on interviews, Scarborough reports that senior official like Mattis and Kelly about to clamp down on Stephen Miller and others who created policy, as regarding the NSC, without consulting them.

I believe this story. You have young people on a power trip who have never dealt with this stuff versus people like Mad Dog. I was amazed when the Joint Chiefs of Staff thing came out and wondered who was behind it.
I just wonder where Kushner, the Consigliere, fits into all of it. He also has had no political experience.
Why were they given access ?
Whoever granted that access should be fired. If it was Trump - big mistake !
There was a very interesting article that I tried to post but FR doesn’t allow the site. politicsusa or something like that.
It talked about how Mika and Joe were allies of sorts to Trump. This article is a few weeks old..maybe months. It laid out the case. Then you saw Mika trying to sneak by reporters into Trump tower after election.
Given this new information, that article deserves a revisit if anyone is interesting in googling it.
It doesn’t matter, access or no access the media will trash Trump and company.

The liberals badly want Trump out. Until they can accomplish that, they will go after the most conservative — and effective— members of his staff —Miller and Bannon.

Mika and Joe were guests at the New Year’s Eve bash Donald threw in Mar-a-Lago after the election.
IF this story is true, POTUS desperately NEEDS MORE personal security and also needs those DUMB pills taken from him, because Scarborough and Mika are backstabbing, social-climbing, power-trippin’ faux-friends.
OTOH, Steven Miller was just on Fox News at the break (from the White House Lawn) delivering the LIVE report.
So much for Miller getting shut down.
