Mayor Domenic J. Sarno, after learning that several refugee families are expected to arrive in the Springfield area this week, has renewed criticism of local resettlement agencies, saying "enough is enough."
In a prepared release, Sarno raised a series of questions about the arrival, saying he had received no advance communication from the Jewish Family Service of Western Massachusetts, the resettlement agency. "Once again, these resettlement agencies with no prior contact and/or coordination efforts with our city departments, use our Springfield as their 'designated resettlement site,'" Sarno said. "Yet when these resettlement agencies are asked to assist these families in need in their own cities and/or towns -- they state they do not have the capacity. Maybe they should try to create their own capacity."

I agree with all of your post but...Springfield, MA is a high crime awful place ruled by predator gangs who don’t like outsiders, so they are not doing the refugees any favors dumping them there.
Part of the reason the Mayor doesn’t want more refugees is that the police spend a lot of resources protecting the refugee sheep from their wolf-like “neighbors”.
The whole 501(c)(3) / 501(c)(4) needs a massive revisit and redesign IMHO, aka look what Team Trump did Filling Early for 2020 last week to stop the 501's from swapping money around and using it against him, cross check into the boards too George Soro's, luv it. Yes a 501c3 can make a profit, they just can't give it back to a shareholders.

Exactly - and that dynamic played a role in a court’s decision to force Catholic Charities in one diocese to comply with ObamaCare requirements that were counter to Church teachings. The basic premise was that it wasn’t a religious organization at all, because of several factors including their state funding.
According to Google, there are 65 million refugees in the world this year. The US cannot take them all. Nor can Europe.
We are under no obligation to take refugees from third world hell holes. By trying to do so, we can make the US into another third world hell hole, but we will not improve any lives.
The answer to refugees is to work on their countries to improve the quality of life there. Unfortunately, that takes time and effort, lots of effort. Leftists seem to want to do the immediate “feel-good” options (regardless of whether they accomplish anything), but show little desire to undertake the long-term efforts needed to fix the problems. I suspect that many leftists are incapable of projecting likely consequences of actions into the future.
And my firm belief is that the profit manifests itself in the form of exorbitant salaries and benefits for the principals (CEOs, et al), which THEN makes its way back to the Democrats in the form of massive political donations.
Here in NJ it is very clear that these “refugees” are necessary to keep our government employee caste occupied; whole areas of NJ would be completely depopulated without them. The costs for these parasites is transferred directly to the dwindling number of American taxpayers and their employers, both of whom are evacuating the state as quickly as they can.
Single-family homes have no future here, as they are replaced by hives for childless Americans and foreigners that will fit 9 people in a 2-bedroom unit. The tax burdens on people who want their own house with a driveway on their own property lot have become prohibitive; much of those taxes (about 75%) go to schooling an increasingly foreign public school student body.
Before they go out setting off bombs, we need to be sure they have good shoes. It’s only logical.
I agree, Springfield is a Third World Hell Hole (TWHH), and dumping ground. Western Massachusetts, outside of Springfield, Worcester, and a couple of smaller TWHH and college towns like Amherst and Williamstown, is definitely Trump Country. I live just inside I-495, about 30 miles from Boston, so I probably count as Eastern Massachusetts, though Mayor Tommie, the Tongue-Tied, Menino called Newton (which borders Boston) “Western Massachusetts.”
Warmongering elitists and networks of criminals without borders destroying state and national sovereignty.

Most heroin that enters the state in the I 91 corridor is sourced from the Springfield cartel. Progs say we need more of this filthy scum here in the U.S.
Yep. I have been giving all my donations to St. Vincent de Paul and the Community Services for the blind (they changed their name last year and I forget what it is).
I used to go to Goodwill now and then to look for collectibles and antiques - prices have increased greatly. Also, I read a thread on FR a month or 2 ago that at least one of the Goodwill stores was concentrating on training Somalis (IIRC the nationality correctly - it wasn’t US citizens).
