For some strange reason, this is getting scant coverage in the media. Drudge has a blurb but that’s about it.
It is very odd. This is actual news and big news.
Worst case is the emergency spillway fails which could breach to 30 feet below current water level. Very bad, but will not affect main dam, which is 770 feet high (think Biblical).
Bigger problem is more rain expected late next week. A warm storm could greatly increase inflow to resevoir.
They won’t have time to fix it.
They’re waiting for the carnage to occur; THEN they will cover it. And it’ll be Trump’s fault.

Not ghoulish enough yet. When the deaths occur, they media will act like it came out of the blue, but was Trump’s fault in the buildup and aftermath.
I don’t know that part of California but I’d suspect Republican with no large urban concentrations of minorities and illegals and Democrats. The state will say they did everything by the book, blah, blah, blah.
To my knowledge the lake that feeds it is a State controlled affair. I haven’t seen anything about an Army Corps of Engineers so I’d GUESS that all this is on state funding, oversight and actions. But I could be wrong.
