Facebook this week released a 6,000-word manifesto, detailing its plans for the future, including how it will use artificial intelligence. In a leaked early addition of the manifesto, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook hinted that the firm would use AI to spy on users, in a bid to 'identify risks.' But mysteriously, in the final published version, that information has been removed, suggesting Zuckerberg decided to keep the invasive plans a secret.

Facebook could end up being one of the biggest targets of a possible investigation by AG Sessions on censorship of the political Right over the Internet. The other likely targets: Google and Twitter, and possibly Yahoo!, too.

Zuck took it out probably after a test run of the AI identified Zuck and his employees as a potential risk.

Why do people still use facebook. Narcissism is addictive. And there is no better drug than facebook. I feel bad for kids. I see them all the time staring at their screen checking the latest post from someone they don’t even know. And there’s silly things. At the bottom of my Walmart receipt it says “like us on Facebook.” Really? Make “friends” with Walmart on facebook?

I would encourage everyone to do some research on Adiabatic Quantum Computers and the Sentient World Simulation. That will illuminate what Facebook is part of.

Correct. In fact, that private dinner held by President Obama (with Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett in attendance) in San Francisco on February 17, 2011 with the CEO's of the following companies in attendance:

Apple
Cisco Systems
Facebook
Google
Netflix
Oracle Systems
Twitter
Yahoo!

...Could end up being the modern equivalent of the infamous Wannsee Conference (mostly because we have picture proof such a dinner meeting happened, thanks to the White House press office). And the companies I mentioned have some of the biggest presences on the Internet in terms of both software and hardware even as I type this.

We don't know what was discussed at that dinner, but if we find out a "gentlemen's agreement" was made by these eight companies to censor the political Right by tweaking search and discovery algorithms over the Internet with President Obama's personal approval, then all of them could be sued for violating the First Amendment right of free speech, since they essentially participated in government-sanctioned censorship.

I got off Facebook, after using it for a year or so, 5+ years ago.

I got into a heated discussion with people on voice chat while playing Warcraft about why I dropped the service and that I wouldn’t be friending any of them.

I said flatly you’re giving a private company every bit of information a government agency or police department would need a search warrant for. Now, of course, those agencies likely start at social media to get around needing a search warrant.

The concept of Facebook as a public profile given to a private company is complete madness.
