Maybe we should do what Mexico does. Anybody crossing our southern border is welcome to continue on to cross our northern border. But if they stop here, they get deported.
I’m glad Canada is willing to do it. No more problems for US. They’ll get this visited back upon them 10 or 20 thousand times and THEY can deal with the cost to support them......
I’m guessing the US agents didn’t try too hard to stop them, frankly......

Canada doesn't want illiterate Mexican farmhands. They made a big deal last year when they waived the need for a visa For Mexican travelers. Now all Mexicans need to visit Canada (and "visit" is the key word) is a passport and a credit card (something every illegal immigrant possesses).
Canada loves to brag how willing they are to take in immigrants. Truth is, they'll take them as long as they are educated and highly skilled. I don't expect the border jumpers in this story will find themselves in Canada for very long.
Canada needs this. The best way to destroy bad ideas is to implement them fully. We need several million of those refugees to end up in Canada so as to help burden Canadians with the reality of their ideas.

just because they entered our country illegally does not give them residency, they still have to be vetted...since they are illegals, the USA is happy to be rid of them and now they become our problem.We are humanitarian and will seek out a solution... No question Trudeau stuck his foot in his big mouth but Americans popping off and denigrating a country by forecasting catastrophe when it was the policies adopted by your own administration that caused the problem in the first place is stupid. .
