The award-winning director of Boyhood and a bunch of other movies that make you cry recently directed an ad to help fight his home state's proposed anti-transgender bathroom initiative, SB6.
Titled "I Pee with LGBT,' the ad, created by GSD&M, imagines a Texan utopia where people get to the use bathroom of their choice, free of harassment and discrimination. The current bill would require transgender people to use the bathroom that corresponds with their sex assigned at birth.
Produced by ACLU of Texas and Legacy Community Health, the ad is great, and thankfully doesn't include either Ethan Hawke or Julie Deply crying.

“Their sex assigned at birth” is the same they will have until they die. You can’t change a person’s biological gender with hormone shots or surgery. Chromosomes in every cell forever identify a person as either male or female.
Isn’t there ANY kind of law that says you have to examine the financial impact of any regulations?
I mean how do you justify spending $millions to have special bathrooms for less than 0.1% of the population?
