You have no idea what you’re talking about. Ask any lawyer about what transpired today, and they will all tell you that THEY WOULD HAVE DONE THE EXACT SAME THING SESSIONS DID. His decision today had nothing to do with politics and everything to do with his professional obligations as a lawyer. He can’t conduct himself the way any ordinary cabinet member does.
P.S. — Sessions would have faced a lot more trouble down the road if he DID NOT recuse himself in any investigation related to the 2016 election. Six months from now there will be no news of any investigation. If Sessions didn’t refuse himself there would have been plenty of accusations that he was quashing it. Now, he doesn’t even have to answer any questions about it other than to say: “I have nothing to do with any of that.”
Except it doesn’t work that way. This story I fear will not abate - & Sessions fed the frenzy with his poor performance and repeated “I don’t recall” statements. He seemed weak and vulnerable. We need an ass kicker AG, not an ass kisser. He recused himself from a potential investigation before there was actual evidence submitted or depositions taken. I appreciate avoiding the appearance of impropriety, but there is no impropriety. All Sessions has done is allow Dems to extend the implication of guilt by recusal. It was a premature move and will make things worse. He should have remained defiant and said, hell no, I won’t recuse. A la Holder and Lynch

You just signed on to FR. You must understand that people here know nothing about you, and would be naturally suspicious of “false flag”, that is to say trolling. There are trolls whose sole purpose is to demoralize. Your impressions of Mr. Sessions are just that— opinions. The man has a prominent history as AG of Alabama, and a long powerful term in the US Senate— and sharp as a tack.
So it’s what you “feel” or “think” and in addition, do not understand that any “investigation” will not come to the AG unless there is a referral. Remember— there was no referral by the FBI for indictment to Lynch, because she would not recuse herself and also was going to take the “expert opinions” of her “career prosecutors”— meaning it would certainly mean a pass on clintoonian. It was pretty clear she was crooked from the get-go, and not recusing showed this poisoning to everyone. Frankly, the dems are desperate and throwing sand into every gear they can- since they have no idea but that they are losing power. FReepers here do not rely on television “impressions” but on the sticky commodity of facts. Many of the people here are long experienced in federal judiciary, intel and a whole lot else.
The target is Trump. And if something doesn’t change they will get him.

President Trump needs to have AG Sessions instruct the DOJ to investigate whether the CIA and Director Brennan (former communist in college) are involved in coordinated sedition against the Trump Administration...
And, to issue an Executive Order cancelling the EO issued by O’Commie making CIA domestic disinformation activities legal....
