Report: Obama (Deep State/Shadow Government) Loyalists Suspected of Sabotage With Travel Ban Leak

Department of Homeland Security report that undermined President Donald Trump's position on his travel ban was drafted by those loyal to the Obama administration with the intent of leaking it to the press, The Washington Times reported.

A source told the Times that the drafters relied solely on open source material, so they could pass on the information to reporters without breaking laws on mishandling classified information.

The leak was a three-page report that said citizenship of a particular country is not a good gauge of a possible terrorist threat, thereby appearing to counter the logic of Trump's temporary ban on immigration from seven countries deemed a high terrorism risk.

But the Trump administration insists that the report is not a final version, as it does not include classified information which helps explain the enhanced danger coming from those seven countries.

This comes as Trump sent out tweets over the weekend to discredit reports of contact between campaign associates and Russian spies.

House Armed Services Committee Chairman Mac Thornberry gave another example of such phenomena, saying Obama loyalists inside the Pentagon do not support Trump's plan to buy more equipment in order to boost military readiness and thus try to deny that there is a problem, the Times reported.

He explained that this is a problem, because Defense Secretary James Mattis has no Senate-confirmed aides in place yet. This is due to the fact that it takes the Senate several months to win confirmation of such officials and so Obama appointees are still the ones on staff.

he is obviously deeply protected with layers of minions willing to take the fall if need be. But I hold hope that I may see him brought to justice before I leave this world.

The need for control. Who authorized the report? Who wrote it? Take each of them and put them in a windowless room counting paperclips until effective control is installed by Mattis.

because Defense Secretary James Mattis has no Senate-confirmed aides in place yet

Fire every one of them and type your own damn memos.

At least they'll be secure that way.

I really hope that Trump and his General declare war on Obola and his minions.

I want them to go scorched Earth.

That includes accomplices in the House and Senate.
Both parties.

Oh...
And let the hangings begin.

That should be a firing offense. If you want to spread fake reports, get a job with theDemocrat media.

Firing is the easy way out. The way to drain the swamp is to make people pay.

Time to start playing hardball with Obama and his shadow government.

Trump needs to get those FBI files on Obama and his fake birth certificates, his college application as a foreign student, his stolen Social Security cards and his college transcripts that have been kept under lock and key.

Fire ALL the political appointees—including the US Attorneys (as Bill Clinton did)—now. No exceptions.

If the “acting” job devolves to a GS-19 at least he/she has a salary and pension to protect and won’t be so glib about breaking the law, undermining the Administration, and going “Sally Yates.”

Step two is for the spineless Senate Republicans to meet round the clock, if necessary, to confirm all of the Presidents political appointees as soon as humanly possible. We’ve had enough of “Congressional recesses” and the “comity of the Senate.” Dismantle the filibuster rule and get to work.

Step three is enact the President’s pro-growth plans (repeal Obamacare, cut taxes, reduce regulation, confirm Justice Gorsuch) because it takes 6-12-18 mos. for these things to take effect.

Step four is for Pres. Trump to campaign at least once/month in the states of the ten Dem senators up for re-election in 2018 in the states that went for him. Maker their kitchens extremely hot should they decide to block the agenda.

All McConnell has to do is state that until all the Nominees are voted on the Senate will not recess or adjourn. Regardless of what the H.O.R. does.

I would like to see the Trump team anticipate what may turn up if and when real swamp cleaning gets underway and start the ball rolling to put real pressure on by installing penalties such as losing pensions and retirement benefits.

I also think serious investigations into things like leaking private info or side dealing with foreign reps should include looking into bank accounts, financial transactions and assets.

Entrenched partisans (on either party) that have been holding down $100K jobs and own homes in posh neighborhoods and condos at mountain resorts should maybe be recipients of asset forfeiture. It's a law I don't agree with in many cases, but would whole heartedly support for cases where people have been harming the country with their behavior.
If a staffer or admin hack has a country club membership how they bought the membership and pay the maintenance fees should be looked at as well as their jewelry box and shopping habits.

I’m an impatient guy. I just don’t understand why they aren’t going after 0bama and hitlery and their comrades. It’s a target-rich environment. And it would put the scumbags on defense and maybe even in jail.

The senate should stay open 24/7 until the nominees are approved. Or, the senate could recess and Trump could recess-appoint all his nominees.

Sorry, passing classified information in an unclassified document is illegal - even if someone else broke the first....

Put out a cash reward for whistleblowers.

Of course, you'll have to provide witness protection.

Great ideas.

No one who is guilty of serious breach of public trust, jeopardizing national security, taking bribes for political/personal gain should have a pension. I think asset forfeiture is seriously abused in many cases, but would be appropriate for these crimes.
