How about “cooking up a warrant” and arrest them for sedition?

Yes, this is a fantasy, but the writer of the piece is ignorant. Which of the “Founders” penned the 25th Amendment? It was adopted February 23, 1967. That’s the problem with these young punks: anything that happened before they were born is ancient history to them.

neo-Stalinists at Yale. How nice. Those yutzes have probably never even heard of DSM-IV. Their hopes would rise and fall on that reference.

We have no Court of Mental Health. It is too subjective. While there are clearly defined realms of dysfunctional behavior, the borders are fuzzy at best.

And, guys, if it is about mental health, let me suggest an easier target. The fraud formerly in the White House. It is mental illness to sign a huge spending bill (which you could veto) and then three weeks later complain we are spending too much money. I can’t recall theme all, but there have been numerous occasions where he clearly did one thing and said another. When you are incapable of recognizing it, as he demonstrated, then you have a clear cut mental disorder.

In the more than two centuries during which Congress has had the opportunity to “provide” such an alternative body, they have opted not to do so.

Dang, I'm old! It's been "more than two centuries" since February 1967!

This is why you should think twice about sending your kids to college especially an Ivy League school. After four years and probably around $200,000 spent you’ll have a young man or woman with a brain of cornmush, but not just any cornmush, it’s Yale certified cornmush.

There is the key passage in the 25th amendment upon which the hopes of liberals now ride. “… or of such other body as Congress may by law provide.” It’s right there in the words of the Founders so clearly it’s a valid point of discussion.

There is one major sticking point in this brilliant scheme, however. In the more than two centuries during which Congress has had the opportunity to “provide” such an alternative body, they have opted not to do so.

Amendment 25 - Presidential Disability and Succession. Ratified 2/10/1967.
Uh . . . I know I’m getting on - but my school days were not in the Founding Era. In fact, 2/10/67 was just about exactly 50 years ago. Granted, that’s a while back - but "more than two centuries” ago?

The author sounds like a child.

Sounds like they have too much time on their hands.

The only legal venue to remove a sitting President who won’t resign is impeachment by a majority of the House and a conviction by 67 Senators. All this other stuff, including Yale, is bullshit.

The 25th Amendment has only existed since 1967.

I don’t undrrstand the idea that the Framers wrote this.

Yale = Yuck.

It’s not worthy of anything much these days. I know this from experience.

If I could save Time in a bottle
I'd bury that bottle quite deep
Then I'd dig that bottle up some day
Just to laugh, and throw it in the sea.

With all of that in mind, let’s examine what might be the better question of the day. Why did Time Magazine see fit to publish this essay in the first place?

Time Magazine is owned by the Rockefeller family. Therein lies the problem. America is an oligarchy [in 1900 over 50% of GNP was owned by 26 families] the Rockefellers are on top. (Quigley, “Tragedy and Hope”, 1966)

When David Rockefeller was asked in the 60s why he didn’t run for President he replied, “Why would I want that, I’d be taking a demotion.”

While these idiots may not like the person, Trump was Constitutionaly elected POTUS. So they just want to throw out the election results and install who they want as president... this is the stuff of the Bolsheviks and third world revolutionaries. Their cloaking this in a bizzare interpretation of the fine print of the Constitution doesn’t make this any less sedition.

Any “plan” to remove the President should include a way to defend against an armed response from the people. I await their detailed plans.

“By law provide” is that congress has to pass a law to create this other body. First problem, for a law to be passed it requires the signature of the president or needs to be veto proof. Second problem, once this other body exists then it can be used against any sitting president. Does the minority really want to open that door?

Trump being President isn’t affecting his mental stability but it does seem to be driving lefties towards a complete break down.
Its hard to feel bad for them because they spend every waking hour scheming how to distort reality.
