Around 2005 when I worked in HR, one of Street Maintenance females was having a ceremony to officially make another female her life partner. (I don’t think they called it “marriage”; can’t recall for sure.) My boss advised our staff that all WOULD attend. I refused. After that, my life was a living hell there and when the time came when I could retire I jumped at the chance.
I observed interesting behavior with gay men last month while on a cruise. There were daily Trivia games and our team consisted of a minister and his wife, two gay “friends”, and my sister and I. (A motley crew for sure.)
The minister and his wife held back a bit. If there was a conflict between what the gay guys believed to be the answer, and what my sister and I believed to be the answer, they still steamrolled over the WOMEN, were dismissive, disregarded us, and assumed that because they were MEN they were right. They weren’t right, but that was their attitude. I’d been led to believe they’re more sensitive — more open minded. In the end (no pun intended), they’re male chauvinists.
No big deal — just interesting.

I remember Tammy Bruce on Fox News talking about how eleven of her male gay friends admitted they’d been raped as a child. Rape of underage boys seems to be the ‘transmission’ point of gayness. It’s time to make child rape a death penalty crime.

I just recently re-discovered the word “execrable,” which appears in this article. It is a very fitting word for this entire issue, meaning detestable, or very bad or wretched.
