Founder of Infowars and conspiracy-peddling media personality Alex Jones apologized for his role in spreading the baseless viral theory that claimed Hillary Clinton and other Democratic leaders were involved in a child sex trafficking ring run out of a Washington, D.C., pizzeria.
Jones on Friday shared a six-minute video on his website in which he distanced himself from the “Pizzagate” theory that emerged after Wikileaks dumped the emails of Clinton Campaign chair John Podesta.
The story, he said, “was based upon what we now believe was an incorrect narrative.”

I wouldn’t fault Alex for being really suspicious here.
There was a lot of trash talk in argot for child molestation/exploitation going on. And that itself is an unwholesome thing, but generally doesn’t rise to the prosecutable interest of western models of law.
This may be a rather parsed apology anyhow. OK, we found no fire. But there was still a helluva lot of smoke.
Alex is not set up to pursue spiritually high voltage things like this anyhow, with his tabloid style. Chemtrails won’t complain back to him. A real live organization can. Alex might better have left his coverage at the level of the talk, and let the public carry on its own debates about what had happened or what to try to do about it.
The more times this shows up in the MSM, the more I am beginning to think that Alex is trolling with this story.
Well ‘tis said that there is no such thing as bad publicity. Now all his hangers-on are livid at him “caving.”
Something VERY fishy about this. Either a lot of the wikileaks data was totally fake or somebody has somehow gotten to Alex Jones. If the wikileaks info was real, then so is Pizzagate.
Except maybe in Pizzagate the outward appearance stank worse than it did here.
Still, one should be careful not to accuse more than one has direct evidence for. Even the bible (Old Testament regime) said nobody should be put to death except on the testimony of two or three witnesses. There was apparently quite a chance for skating to go on. But rather than than to do something drastic before the proof is there.

Have you noticed lately what Drudge is putting out? Since when has he ever been afraid to tell the truth? Right now and the past few weeks...
A lot of ‘conservative’ sites will be feeling the heat because of the ‘conservative’ view points...
But funny thing, I got jumped all over by several self righteous souls for “musing” about the PP baby parts scandals. That didn’t mean I thought nothing evil had happened. But I wanted to try to understand how it fit in the bigger picture, what it reflected about whom, and what we could do about it. The baby parts wouldn’t even be happening without the slain babies, and were a secondary thing to me.
Drudge never posted on Pizzagate.
Alex did sort of stay away from it after Gibbs left.
I didn’t say that he did, what I said was he hasn’t been very conservative the past few weeks, if you’ve noticed...
The kids said there were tunnels under the day care and no one checked before or during the trial. Later, an investigator found out that the property had been sold and he got permission to see if the what the kids said was true and come to find out the kids were right.

I guess they are all afraid. Can’t blame them.
Here is the problem with the whole “Pizza-Gate” ..... scandel, if you want to call it that. Remove the conclusion, i.e. that there is child trafficking ring.
Look at the individual data points. There are some WRETCHED individuals with the sick stuff they have (paintings, sculptures) and the people they associate with. The Clinton’s proven relationship with Epstein.
There is a rotten sickness without the child trafficking allegations. And that sickness is proven.
“Nice little car you’ve got there, Alex. It would be a shame if it were to suddenly accelerate and smash into a brick wall one night, don’t you think?”
Well it sounds like balls were dropped all over in not checking things out, but the upshot is that since no proof was furnished at trial, the result was a shaming.
There might BE molestation behind Pizzagate for all we know, but we need better than an Inspector Clouseau.
FWIW this guy says in one of his videos that many sites including Drudge are being threatened with big lawsuits to shut them up or at least slow down their reporting:
