China's national airline, Air China, suspended flights from Beijing to the North Korean capital, Pyongyang, from late on Friday, Chinese state broadcaster CCTV said.
It did not say why the flights, which operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, were being suspended.
CCTV did not give a source for its news report published on its website and Air China could not immediately be reached for comment after business hours.

Update from Reuters: “China’s national airline, Air China, has canceled some flights to the North Korean capital, Pyongyang, due to poor demand but it has not suspended all flights there, it said on Friday, denying a report by Chinese state broadcaster CCTV.”

They must not want to lose a plane when the airport gets bombed.
The airport itself is pretty small - 3 gates plus some ramp parking. One active runway, and a second one across the river that looks to be in pretty bad shape. I’m not sure I’d even put it on a target list.
Wonson is about the same, one less gate, but a crosswind runway. It might make a slightly better target.

Note to Trump: be careful.
Some of the hype about what “might” take place over the next few days on the Korean peninsula, might, depending on your actual intentions, be setting you up for an epic political fail, as in “after all Trump’s bravado [which will be ignoring MOST of the bravado has been from the media] nothing happened”.
Trump should get out ahead of that possibility.
My fear is that it is the deep state that wants Trump to “pull the trigger” more than coming from Trump himself.
