An editorial from Wellesley Colleges student newspaper put out a call to arms on Wednesday against anyone who engages in alleged racist behavior.
Ironically enough, the piece starts out responding to what the author sees as unfair allegations that Wellesley students and professors foster an environment where free speech is not allowed or is a violated right. Many outside sources have painted us as a bunch of hot house flowers who cannot exist in the real world.

She would be better off if you sent her to Pyongyang University. The tuition is much less, the professors are better and more open to ideas, the student body is more diverse, controversial views are more accepted, and at graduation you'd have a chance of her coming out knowing and appreciating the US Constitution.

Lots of Wellesley students got the vapors, and ended up mishearing what was being shouted, causing the celebrants about six weeks limbo-hell, until things were sorted out.
The shutting down of free speech IS a form of hate speech.

Talk is cheap. They threaten “adapt” or “what,” exactly.
The emotional labor required to educate people is immense and is additional weight that is put on those who are already forced to defend their human rights.
Maybe if they got all the chips off their collective shoulders, they'd be able to grow up, and find things to enjoy, rather than having to scrutinize everything in order to annoy.

I remember that. These narrow, darkened, twisted, and humorless minds have ruined plenty of universities. I’m glad I went through college a long time ago. They’ll ruin the country, too, if they keep on.
At least hot house flowers contribute something to humanity.
