I don’t think that Canada pays its fair share of its NATO obligations.
Science as we know it cannot audit all the things that go into the world climate. Nature’s features are too deep. What we have is anxiety over a very incomplete theory.
Our “effort” on the Canadian front during the War of 1812 was truly pathetic. The absolute low point in American military history.
I’d love to see someone beat the c**p out of Trudeau. I mean really work him over.
It’s not easy to extract concessions from someone after they’ve burned your capital city to the ground.
One of the things that gets me is why President Polk didn’t squeeze more concessions from the British/Canada. The St. Lawrence River should be the NE boundary of the U.S., with Nova Scotia and Newfoundland U.S. states.
I’m sure my family in Canada would be happy to take Alaska off your hands!!:)
I hope this thread is right about Trump opposing leftist junk climate science; but Ivanka, Tillerson, and all the other moles surrounding him are not going to quit easily.
If he wants to run Canada like that and Canada agrees then fine. But he has no right to dragoon the world into it.

That’s no doubt part of the reason he has the common touch. I can’t believe there are people who make it all the way through college without ever holding a real job, or only having a pampered summer internship and equating that with the real world. How are they supposed to learn to deal with real people? They don’t.

We shall see. We have not pulled out of the stupid Paris agreement yet. I am hopeful but Ivanka’s gang are pushing hard to keep us in it. Cohn said Trump is “evolving” on the issue. I sure as hell don’t like the sound of that. We all need to contact the White House and lobby that the President keeps his promise and gets us out.

The expedition led by Benedict Arnold in 1776, despite astoundingly horrendous conditions and bad luck and desertions, darn near captured Montreal. Arnold had just 500 effectives in freezing weather, and most of them had expirations due on Jan. 1, so he had to attack before then, regardless of the conditions. They actually got well inside the town, but the commander of the other wing, after getting inside, stopped rather than aggressively moving to Arnold.

Can’t think of a worthier enemy than Justin Trudeau. If we end up waging war on Canada, he’ll tell everybody to go down to the cellar and think multicultural thoughts.
