Taking a page right out of Hillary’s playbook: it’s ALWAYS someone else’s fault. The Left will never learn.
Denial.
Hillary Clinton > Russians
Hollywood > bad reviews
Kathy Griffen > people with no sense of humor
the Left > Selfish rich White people of privilege
There isn’t any Talent in Hollywood, none what-so-ever!
It’s just a city of Wanna-be’s!
I would no more go to see a movie than I’d go to watch corn grow in Nebraska.
Sorry, Hollywood.........your hatred has taken over and it SHOWS!
Haven’t been to the movies in years....don’t see that changing anytime soon.
Two big tests coming up for Hollywood: Wonder Woman, which is getting strong early reviews, and The Mummy, with Tom Cruise. The Mummy is the first film of the planned “Dark Universe,” new takes on horror movies of the past. Current plans are to follow up with The Wolfman and Bride of Frankenstein. The Mummy tanking could spoil a lot of plans...
Even the trailer for Baywatch was stupid. Enough to discourage me from wasting my money.
The reviewers will just start doing what Glassdoor has done. Start taking bribes to give better reviews.
Hollywood’s new hashtag - #FAKEreviews
The other day I was commenting that if they put The Muppet Movie in theaters again it would hands down be the best movie “released” in several years.
Can you imagine what fun a theatrical showing of an uncut Blazing Saddles or Highlander would be? Never mind compelling genre classics like The Manchurian Candidate (blue eyes version), The Razor’s Edge (Tyrone Powers) or (for very different reasons of course) Duck Soup!
Hollywood has become the haunt of the lame, the PC, and the dumbed down. If anything good come out of it tis a miracle.
Almost every blockbuster movie ever released got panned by critics. This seems like a lame excuse.
There is a huge disconnect between the viewing public and the movie industry. As long as they keep churning out what they think the public SHOULD like, instead of what it does, they will continue to tank. Technology is on the side of the home viewer, no one NEEDS to go to a theatre anymore. They can wait and see bad films cheaply in the comfort of their homes.
I believe the Russians colluded to try and bring down the American film industry. Prove they didn’t.
I have not seen one good movie in at least a year and a half. Guardians II was a ridiculous story. Ridiculous. Star Wars ridiculous. What Ron Howard did to the Beatles story was terrible. King Arthur was such a bad movie I was on the edge of my seat ready to leave. The list goes on. I saw what Coppola did to the Grateful Dead story last weekend it’s hours I’ll never get back and now I don’t even Ike the dead so much anymore after that
Tge Emily dickenson movie was pointless. My kid wanted to see the vin diesel thing. I was out of there and getting passes within five minutes. It wa pornographic. The manager said I sohould be prepared when a movie is R rated. Hah. It was pg 13.
So bad
Baywatch. I mean ... Baywatch! Seriously?
The Boss Baby = 51% and made money.
Kong, Skull Island = 71% and lost money.
Lego Batman = 90% and made money.
Snatched = 37% and lost money.
No way, no chance, bye!
Fork Hollywood.
Why would anyone go to a strange venue that only has a couple of exits, with nothing but strangers all around, with a hot-dogs and cokes costing $10.00, just to watch a movie when I could do that in the comfort of my own home?
