The guys who drive illegals around cutting grass paid to have this law passed.

“She charges one lady $20, and another lady $30, and another girl $40 besides what we pay her.”
********************************************
When I was an 8-11 y/o I mowed front yards on my street for 50 cents, using my dad’s push reel mower.

I know prices have risen since the early ‘50s, but that’s ridiculous. My 30-year neighbor (15 yrs. younger) mows my front lawn and edges along the curb each time he does his yard. He says it only takes an extra 10-15 minutes.

Yard service companies want a $25 per week contract to do the same. ....That’s equivalent to $100 an hour, less expenses! Very lucrative business, and attracts illegals.

I think it’s time to start asking for green cards when the local businesses are out mowing lawns.
