But then again if Mueller is successful in trumped up charges of obstruction against the POTUS, many of the non-Trumpers in GOP congress might salivate at the chance of getting revenge for their candidate’s defeat at the hands of non-politician Trump whom they called every derogatory name in the book during primaries. Paul Ryan will retrieve articles of impeachment from his bottom drawer.
I agree, President Trump has 80% support from the GOP base. The cowardly RINOs in Congress will reap what they sow if they don’t defend President Trump against impeachment.
I think the comical side of the Mueller investigation will be weekly leaks which appear on CNN. My guess is that by the end of July, Trump will request Mueller stop the leaks...which will be a failure, and then Trump will appoint the FBI the task of investigating leaks from Mueller’s staff. It’ll turn into an investigation about an investigation over an investigation.
