DEVELOPING: Brussels Central station was evacuated Tuesday amid reports of an explosion and at least one man shot, though officials have not yet confirmed any details.

NMBS, the National Railway Company of Belgium, said on Twitter the station was "indeed evacuated," adding there was "no exact information about what is happening at the moment."

Several people on social media reported explosions being heard, but authorities have not yet confirmed any details.

The man, identified only as J.B., was taken in for questioning. Prosecutors said he had a criminal record and a history of psychiatric problems.

I have never laughed as hard as the night I spent in the Brussels Train station, waiting to catch an early train. All the homeless folks come into the train station at night too stay warm. They were also mental patients.

It was a cat and mouse game between them and the security guards that was more like a pink panther or three stooges movie. There were vending machines that dispensed beer in the station and they drank and partied all night. The best part was their Grande Prix races with the luggage carts, engine sounds and all!

This article says police shot a perp who managed to "trigger a device" but there are no reports of casualties so far. Occasionally these jihad bombs burn more than explode, I think???? That photo with a fire looks like it could be a human form, perhaps the terrorist is on fire?????? I don't know, just asking....
