(CNN)A man accused of shooting and killing an 18-year-old woman in a case of road rage is being held without bail on murder charges after turning himself in Sunday morning, authorities said.
David Desper, 28, faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder and reckless endangerment, Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said. Police said he shot Bianca Nikol Roberson after he became angry as their vehicles were merging on the same lane of a highway Wednesday evening in West Goshen, Pennsylvania, just west of Philadelphia.

The shooting took place in Pennsylvania but not in Amish country.
Never have understood why so many people get bent out of shape while driving and lose all courtesy, or worse, go completely unhinged and evil, like this. It’s always “me first!”

Where do you have to go that a few seconds’ or minutes’ delay is the end of the world?
Touchy touchy touchy. What became of just cussing um out? (I know. This.)
The shooter was in a rush to get where he was going, but now it is going to take him 25-30 years longer to get there than he expected.
It’s the “extension of the ego” thing. One’s very position on the road becomes viewed as an embodiment of one’s honor.
More polite and civilized people (which doesn’t mean wimpy, it just means they look for better things to become angry about) will try to be courteous to rude drivers.
Horrid optics, absolutely horrid.
At the same time, I have become convinced of a spiritual subtext to the disorderliness and worse in America. (I’m not the Quix of ancient Freepage, but I believe in some of the same things he did.)
I think some of it, yes, DOES hark back to black chattel slavery days. Fools over here didn’t realize they weren’t just importing people, but the spirits that went with them. Pretty dark spiritual stuff, from Africa. And when the people died, the spirits didn’t. They hung around looking for other willing subjects.
These spirits have served as a test, permitted by God, of the faithfulness of Christians in America to the real Christ. Often, they have failed and taken the bait brought by these dark spirits.
That’s the troubling news. The good news, however, is that God always has planned for Christ to win. It is only the kindness of God that can win people (of any color) away from being enthralled by evil spirits. And people need to choose whether they are willing to put into play all the spiritual backbone that God is willing to grant, against these dark spirits. (Dark again means spiritually dark... they don’t care what physical color a potential subject is.)
Optics??? Really? A young lady is dead and you’re talking about “optics”? I take it you’d be happier if the shooter was black? Or an illegal alien maybe? To keep everything nice and simple?
What do Africa’s spirits have to do with two students from the same school- one a white driver , who shot a female driver who was black... in order to be first to merge?
I don’t even think it was a race issue, though it may have been, but it certainly was a hot headed stubborn entitled issue. One or both drivers didn’t slow down to let the other merge, but one happened to be a white guy with anger issues and no common sense who chose to solve the impasse by discharging his weapon, causing the other driver to veer off road.
Call it whatever you want... it’s one of those less common but politically inflammatory white-on-black offenses.
Don’t distract, please.
They could have a LOT to do with it.
Your mental model excludes it. That doesn’t mean they aren’t there and doing great mischief to this day, largely unopposed because of lukewarm Christian faith.
Execute him. Might stop future road rage idiots, like the one my daughter called the cops on the other day. That driver was lucky but might be charged with assault with intent to main or kill (threw a bottle) at the family truck with had three children in it, my daughter (who was legally carrying) and her combat (2 wasr) veteran husband who was also legally carrying.
The cops were not too impressed with the road rage driver because he admitted that he went after them (for no real reason).
The husband is a crack shot as some of our enemies found out the hard way.
Maybe he is just lucky that the cops got to him first.
The world's #1 slavers, the arabs, imported far more slaves into Arabia than into the western hemisphere. Because they preferred their slaves castrated they don't have a race problem today.
But they sure as heck have a spiritual problem...
When stuck in crawling traffic and vying for an opening, I’ve been known to make eye contact, hold up a coin, point at my head and butt, flip the coin and invite them to call it by pointing at their head or nether regions.
Then look at the coin, *sigh* and waive them on.

Yeah... the confluence of Islam and the African situation was a bifecta for the devil. In the long term, such things won’t last; they’ll fly apart sooner or later. In the short term, it is hell on earth.
The idea of individual responsibility is a serious Jewish and Christian idea. Inter-racial, trans-generational feuds are results of pagan worldviews. Think Hatfields and McCoys but far worse.
Even then, in many cases we’ll see some kind of rudimentary “turn taking” happen.
All that goes out the window when everyone gets all charged up with hate.
