STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. — A few Sundays ago, federal immigration agents walked through the doors of handsome houses here in the Detroit suburbs, brushing past tearful children, stunned wives and statuettes of the Virgin Mary in search of men whose time was up.
If the Trump administration prevails, more than 100 of these men may soon be deported, like the tens of thousands of other people rounded up this year as part of a national clampdown on illegal immigration.
But the arrests may have stunned this community more than most.
While President Trump was hurling verbal napalm at Mexico and vowing to keep out Muslims during his campaign, he was also promising to look out for people from these men’s besieged corner of the world.
They are Christians from Iraq — a land that they and their families fled decades ago because, they say, to live as a Christian in Iraq is no life at all, and sometimes means death. They settled in Detroit and its suburbs, accumulating into what may now be the largest population of Chaldean Christians in the world. They opened businesses, founded a dozen Chaldean Catholic churches and rose in numbers and wealth.

In the 42nd paragraph, the Slimes reluctantly mentions the wee problem with these refugees...

What else would anyone expect? They were hoping that people would read the headline, and maybe a few sentences. Another fake news hit job from one of the leading names in news reporting malpractice.
Iraq is becoming stable. Send them back to help continue rebuilding

Exactly. Unfortunatly for the Times, the more they push propaganda pieces like this, the more people will distrust anything they print. I know I don’t trust them. That’s why I figured I’d read to the end of the article to dicscover their angle. If they were honest, the article would be titled, “Commit a serious crime, lose your green card. Get deported. No surprise”
So much for “Christians”...

I think he’s querying the fact that people who rape, murder, etc are referred to as Christians.

Can you believe the utter dishonesty of the reporting? The beginning of the article makes it sound like these people were pillars of the community, whereas they were targeted for deportation because of criminal behavior.
Charges.
So Mohamed down the street can make a baseless charge and get a Christian sent back to the U.S.-caused genocide.
So the strategy now is back to trying to separate Trump from his base by making it look like he isn’t keeping promises.
He promised to stop the refugees and get rid of illegals. He’s doing that. The Mexicans who come here are Christians too.
Protect them over there. The Mexicans who come here are mostly Christians too. Still illegal. They must go.
