U.S. President Donald Trump arrived for a G20 summit in Hamburg on Thursday risking isolation on climate policy and the wrath of anti-capitalist protesters threatening to disrupt the meeting of the world's leading economic powers.
Trump, who paused to wave as he descended the steps of Air Force One with his wife Melania, faces a testy confrontation with leaders of the other big G20 economies after deciding last month to pull the United States out of the 2015 Paris climate deal.
Trade policy is another area of contention at the summit, which protesters have vowed to disrupt. "Welcome to Hell" was their greeting for Trump and other world leaders arriving in Hamburg for the two-day meeting which formally starts on Friday.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel, hosting the meeting, said she was committed to an open international trading system, despite fears of U.S. protectionism under the Trump administration.

Stay the course, PRESIDENT TRUMP.
1 JOHN 4:4
But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
Reuters = Fake News
I’m pretty sure that President Trump doesn’t give one single flying f*ck about “isolation”.
Let me get this straight. Literally, the most powerful man on the planet is “risking” something by not towing the PC line on “climate change” ? Really? He would be crushed if European leaders shunned him. Heck, he might even withdraw American protection and and force them to pay for their own defense.
Oh no, not the dreaded isolation. He wouldn’t know what to do. Get real Reuters.
If I was thrust amongst that pack of wolves I would relish some isolation.
Look at Europe: they are self destructing ... why should I ever care if they don’t like us? The Muslims who take their place sure won’t.
Maybe if they start having kids they’ll be important enough to care about. Until then if they want to commit suicide I feel sorry for the people along for the ride, but not the PCdiots.
Trump, risking isolation over climate, arrives for G20
Every Gxx or WTO meeting gets protesters.
The masses wany free sh!t and they want it now!
So this is the way our president is treated after thousands of American military gave their young lives to rescue the rotten Europeans in two World Wars. Americans should vow, “Never again.” When the Muslims whom they have invited into their countries begin their takeover, don’t expect us to answer that call.

I feel like Western Europe is through. Germany is winning WW3, and will soon achieve economic domination over nearby nations within their claws. But it won't last. In Germany's arrogance, they're flooding their dominion with invaders they think they can control. History tells us that it doesn't work that way.
So, if the US is isolated from the agreement, do the rest of the nations increase billions for it since we won’t?
Climate science is science. However, the zealotry of the apocalyptic thumpers can deal with it by putting their money and energy toward their goals without us.
The concept that China and India are exempt for years to come is ridiculous on its face.
Isolation from nihilistic, globalist, socialists on a path toward continent wide suicide is NOT a bad thing.
The more accurate term would be the US being the “Shining City Upon A Hill” as referenced by Reagan. Unlike the rest of the world, the United States chooses to lead with individual freedom - which is something wholly incompatible with environmentalism.
