I can argue all day about how to view the real presence of Jesus in the Holy Supper.
But it seems to me that while we might be able to argue some things, you do have the core principles of the Christian faith down pat.
1: Jesus is God.
2: We’re not God.
3: Jesus died and rose, proving that Jesus is Lord, but also that Jesus died for us, in order to forgive our sins and give us eternal life.
I’m not going to tell you to leave your church as long as they preach Christ crucified. I simply worry what’s going to happen when the Vatican hierarchy starts to try to force sin onto individual parishes and believers.
Said at the dinner table with 12 priests: priest number one: “this meat sucks”. priest number two: “quick! throw it in my lap”
Sigh. I sure do miss Pope JPII and Pope Benedict XVI.
Actually, the clerical gays are the guys who are pushing open communion for all. They support people who opt for an adulterous second marriage while a valid first marriage still exists, because they basically do not believe in the existence of an objective Moral Law.
Priests bring anti-priests.

stop bashing MY religion....I hate what’s happening but the church of my youth is the true church...the real church...with many religions co-opting things they like and things they don’t....but all Christianity is based on the Catholic church...
Wrong, bucko. My mother forced me to have communion when I was 10, so according to your fellow catholics, that makes me a catholic forever. Even though I utterly despise the catholic church and consider myself a Protestant, apparently I'm still one of you, so I feel free to criticize my "other" church.
