From where I stand she looks pretty good, but then again my two Senators are Kamala Harris and Dianne Feinstein. So I’ve got nothing.

I suggest Senator Ernst concentrate on straightening out that ungodly mess that is the Veterans Administration. I submit that would be of better use to veterans than yet another memorial tucked into some corner of D.C.
Bi-partisan is ALWAYS lose for the GOP. The era of statesmanship and honor is long gone. She says the right things but seems to be naive about the well entrenched swamp monsters.

Combat Action Badge. What a damn joke that is. She has been Reserve and NG with one tour mostly in Kuwait. She was a transportation Corps field grade officer and supervised her truck drivers driving supplies into Iraq for maybe 5-6 months.
We called folks like her REMF.
Joni Ernst went to Iowa State on an Army ROTC scholarship. She served 23 years in the Army Reserve and Iowa Army National Guard, retiring in 2015 as Lt. Colonel. She served in Logistics in Iraq and Kuwait. Her husband Gail Ernst is a retired Army Ranger.

So did I. I didn’t know Ernst was a war vet. Maybe cause she doesn’t brag about it every 5 seconds like Suckworth.
Anyway, most legislation worth passing would not garner a single rat vote.
