White House Meeting With Primary Challengers of GOP Sen. Jeff Flake

The White House has been meeting with prospective opponents of Sen. Jeff Flake (R., Ariz.) in an apparent effort to put pressure on the senator, who has been a vocal critic of President Donald Trump.

Flake refused to endorse Trump during the presidential campaign and said he could not attend the GOP convention because he had to "mow his lawn." Now, the Trump administration has had meetings with at least three prospective candidates to run against Flake in the Republican primary, Politico reports.

Flake is up for reelection in 2018 and is considered quite vulnerable.

Politico reports that Trump has talked to Arizona Treasurer Jeff DeWit at least twice. DeWit was a part of Trump's 2016 campaign. White House officials have also met with former state Sen. Kelli Ward and former Arizona GOP Chairman Robert Graham.

Trump has vocalized his dislike for Flake. Trump said at a rally towards the end of his presidential campaign that he would spend $10 million of his own money to help a challenger defeat Flake in 2018.

Flake, Corker, Hatch and Heller all voted for Rubio’s amnesty bill.

If we do not remove from office the people trying to abandon the rule of law and give away the country we will not have a country.

Good. This ought to give McCain another couple of clots in his head.

Good, I’m hoping it’s DeWit. Kelly should be appointed to take McCains seat. I have a feeling his recent illness is tip of the ice burg

Flake is up for reelection in 2018 and is considered quite vulnerable.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He’s vulnerable because he sides with the illegal aliens and their employers against the citizens and the rule of law.
The Cheap Labor Express Republicans have to go.
Flake, Corker, Hatch and Heller in 2018.
Graham and Alexander in 2020.
McCain, Murkowsky, Hoven and Rubio in 2022.
We must stop re-electing people who betray us.
It could be interesting if Trump will support Paul Nehlen this time around, too.
Of a sudden, I have been getting a flurry of emails from Flake this last few months, extolling his conservative creds. I’ve flagged ‘em as Span to keep my blood pressure down.
Examples:
1) Sen. Flake Cosponsors Legislation to Protect Second Amendment, States’ Rights
2) Sending Criminals Packing: The Arizona Republic reports on Sen. Flake’s support for deporting criminal aliens to keep Arizona’s communities safe.
3) BREAKING NEWS: Sen. Flake joins letter urging immediate release of captive American pastor
4) 9th Circuit Breakup: Sen. Flake and Gov. Ducey penned an op-ed for The Arizona Republic outlining the case for passing Sen. Flake’s Judicial Administration and Improvement Act to break the oversized 9th Circuit into two smaller, more efficient courts.
5) etc., etc. They all sound good but his past performance leaves something to be desired.
Here in Nevada, Senator Heller is a stinking RINO crumbbum who backed away from Trump from the get go. Hope the White House primaries his keister. Heller does not have the backing of Trump supporters and is a sure loser in 2018.
We need real outsiders in the Senate like Donald Trump and no more RINO’s and I sincerely believe 99 percent of those elected currently as GOP are fake conservatives or just plain liberal Republicans like Lisa Murkowski of Alaska for example.
OK my friends. This is our calling. Trumps only support is the voters. That’s us. If he’s going to step up shouldn’t we?
Time to melt this snowflake and get someone in who is rational (i.e. which his name indicates he is not).
Arizona is an open primary state. This could bite us in the rear.
Flake is toast for me due to his travels to Cuba with the Kenyan (as well as other reasons). Kelli Ward has made some serious stumbles and would be vulnerable to defeat should she win the primary.
AZ is no longer as red as it use to be. The Congressional seats are split 5-4 red.
Watch for the left to come out in favor of Ward, voting for her so as to increase their possibility of a take-a-way.
DeWit is the best bet for AZ, not Ward.
