None of you caught the fact that 88% of these “abuse” cases are NOT sexual? IOW, what’s alleged — not proven — is about 1 incident of sexual abuse per year. That’s not acceptable obviously, but that means this headline and all the excitement it’s stirred up is mostly fake news about corporal punishment of the sort that every one of us saw and perhaps experienced or even dealt out at some point. We are talking about what was standard and not just accepted but expected, in every school in this land a generation ago. That’s the “physical abuse” here.
