The battery took an overnight charge but drained assoon as it was hooked up. So my kind neighbor uscrewed all the bolds, pulled the battery out again, and I went to the store to get a new one. I also bought two waterproof covers for the bikes. One for me and one for him. I was so grateful for his help!

((((And Thank God it WASN’T The rotor, the stator, the voltage regulator, or anything to do with an alternator!!!)))))

Howdy do, Conor.

Things moving right along with the kitchen cabinets? Did the floor contractor and crew show up today?

Hey there, radu! It WAS a good day! Nuttin’ much happening, but it was still good.

I think I’m over having too much to do. LOL

How were things in your world? All the kitties [sort of] behaving themselves? Armand still improving? Hope you get some cooler weather soon.

It’s 90 here right now...not much less than it was at the highest today. Weird. No rain in sight though.

Good evening, Radu!

*HUGS*

Things are moving along. Our contractor comes tomorrow to do the flooring on the first floor and the wainscoting. By this weekend we will have a much nicer living room, kitchen and foyer.

Glad you had an easy day. Bummer it’s still so hot there tonight.
Hotter here today than yesterday and that trend will continue the next few days. Supposed to cool off a tad over the weekend and a little more early next week.

Won’t say “improving” but Armand is holding his own. Still eating well, though slowly, and seems to be gaining a little weight.

They’ve behaved fairly well until a short time ago. We’re replacing our defunct dishwasher and Hubby just hauled it out. That got everyone wound up. *sigh*

LOL! I’m thinkin’ it doesn’t take much to get those heathens riled up. :)

Peaches has another abcess, this time on his cheek. He got into it with the pretty silver tabby stray that “borrows” their water dish, and I think he got scratched. He’s a tough boy but he has issues with infection. I’m watching it and if it doesn’t start to heal soon, I guess it’s back to the vet. Again.

Thank goodness Ginger has a strong immune system!

Even cats with strong immune systems get abscesses from fighting. Happens to our fellas from time to time. But it doesn’t help that Peaches’ immune system isn’t as strong as it should be.
Has he scratched it open yet? Do you have any antibiotic drops to put on it if he has? I keep Tresaderm in the fridge for things like that.

No, it doesn’t take much at all to wind these heathens up. LOL!

No...but I think if I take him to the vet I’ll ask for some. All I have is human antibiotic cream and i’d be afraid that getting that in his mouth from the paw he cleans his face with might make him sick.
