I’ve used Neosporin on our cats - vet said it was ok - and it never bothered them. I don’t use much.
But I like Tresaderm because it can be used in their ears too. It’s good stuff and only takes a drop to do the trick.

I’m SO glad to know that! When I see him in the morning, I’ll try to get some on this wound. I’m sure it’s painful, but he kept it hidden really well till i noticed some loose fur where there shouldn’t have been any. :(

It doesn’t take much. I also use the cream rather than ointment because it absorbs well.

They all seem to hide their booboos well, the lil stinkers.

Gotta head out and try to sleep. There’s a Republican Women’s Group meeting in the morning. Sure would be nice if they’d have them in the evening once in a while.
Just waiting for Hubby to bring the new dishwasher in so I can guard to make sure no cats slip out the door. Most are locked away in the back part of the house and the few who are still in this part aren’t much for escape attempts. Still need to be on guard though.

Have another good, EASY day tomorrow. LOL! See ya tomorrow evening.

I think those women need to re-think that morning thang and have some of their meetings at a decent time!

See ya tomorrow! It’s weird that you’re going before I do. LOL!

Not a good day...very grumpy and snappy, but slept most of the day. No food, no drink, no pills. And we had to put up a rail on the off side of the bed.

Every morning I tell Suzye how the night went. In just a couple minutes she was sitting up with feet on the floor on the wrong side of the bed and going somewhere. And she moved the table to get there. Suzye tried to tell her she needed to lie down and get turned around to the wall side with the handrails. Mom snapped at her. Then I tried with the same results. Every time she was up she was very argumentative.

And the same when I got home. Finally got her to sleep. Then she actually pushed the button...and had done a 180. Got her toast and chocolate milk AND pills. When I took her tray she said, “You’re being awfully nice. How come?” *sigh*

This dementia sucks...and my sister thinks she meets all the criteria for Alzheimer’s. Tomorrow I’m going to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center to see what they offer.

Oh, Kathy. You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers that the right solution is found for your sweet mom.

I know you fear that she will hurt herself. Sounds like she’s coming closer all the time. Dementia does suck...big time!

Thanks, Luv...we are praying that The Lord will take her home soon to be with my Dad. She’s been up twice since going down after dinner...neither time pushing the button. Thank goodness I have the bed pad. The last time she had moved to the end of the bed, past the commode that is supposed to hem her in. She says she can’t when I ask her to scoot closer to the head of the bed. She didn’t seem to have much trouble getting to the foot.

I need to get a hospital bed within a week if I can.

Laundry is done and she is down again....hopefully for the night. I’m off to bed as well.

Good morning, E...((HUGS))...dementia is getting worse. I know you understand.

Hope you and Bo have a good hunting day.

Mom’s asleep finally, so I’m going too.

Have a great Thursday.

Howdy, EGC! (((hugs)))

All is well here! Another boring pretty day. LOL!

Did you and Bo have a good time at the lake yesterday? Lots of people out there on boats and maybe fishing? Any turtles to be found?

No turtles. It’s hot out there today. We may do a ride in the country or just stop by the lake to let Bo have some water time. We’ll see.

A nice AC’d ride in the country sounds like a plan! :) I imagine the turtles are in the mud trying to stay cool!
