Only someone as brazenly arrogant as Debbie Wasserman Schultz could claim her own irresponsible behavior as a civic virtue. The former DNC chair insists she “did the right thing” by not firing an IT aide after being warned he was under criminal investigation, “and I would do it again.” Not only did she stand by Imran Awan, she tried to stonewall Capitol Hill L/E and threatened them with “consequences” if they didn’t back off.
Awan is now charged with bank fraud, which Debbie Wasserman Schultz chalks up to anti-Muslim bias. Imram allegedly arranged a fraudulent Congressional credit-union loan that was then wrapped in a $283,000 wire transfer to Pakistan just weeks after he learned he was under investigation.
Awan worked for dozens of top Democrats serving on sensitive intel committees since 2004. In February, the members learned he was suspected of secretly accessing members’ computers and transferring files to remote servers.

This Arwan guy has all the goods on her because he’s read ALL her e-mails and he knows how to put the screws to his “clients” obviously, if you look at his shady dealings in the recent past.
They let him go on bail? Really? I can’t believe he’s still above ground.

Allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 election began with the alleged Russian “hack” of the DNC e-mail systems.
The DNC has refused to allow investigation of the e-mail systems. Now we learn that DNC contractors had access to DNC e-mail systems. These contractors have fled the country, except one who was arrested while fleeing. It’s entirely possible that these DNC contractors are the source of the “leaked” DNC e-mails and that Russia had nothing to do with it.
Former DNC and Clinton campaign chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz has obstructed investigation of the contractors.
Why?
Why obstruct investigation of the contractors? Why refuse to allow investigation of the e-mail systems? The alleged hack of the e-mail system is what started the allegation of Russian interference yet Democrats refuse to allow investigation. Perhaps the Democrats are lying.
The word pathetic actually describes her quite well, along with the people that keep reelecting her. The USA is Rome all over again. A country that has people like her and Chuckles the clown Schumer as their leaders cannot be headed in the right direction.

My take is that the relationship between the Awan clan and Democrat politicians initially started off as a simple kickback scam. The politicians paid him and his family exorbitant salaries, Clan Awan kicked back cash in brown bags to the politicians.
The Awans are low rent grifters. They would steal a hot stove and come back for the smoke. If they were professional spooks they would be model citizens and employees, they would live a life beyond reproach outside of espionage activities. Clan Awan glowed radioactive. Any hacking or espionage was purely incidental to general villainy on their part.
If you want to nail DWS, don’t subpoena her bank records, subpoena her jewelry store receipts and find out how much of her bling was paid for with cash.
The reason Debbie Wassermann is defending Awan is very simple. He probably knows enough to put her in jail. Democrats will dump you instantly if it is to their advantage.
She is afraid to dump Awan.

Wasserman-Schultz is NEVER going to give a satisfactory explanation of her deeds of the past couple of years, as none is possible. She may only splutter and shriek, dance about, and look around herself in a frenzied manner, but like an insect impaled on a pin, her struggles may well prove to be futile in the end.
Unless somehow she gets sufficient cover from the Media, and a counter attack is mounted, based largely on “Don’t hit the girl!”
Which may be enough to get her re-elected in her district. I don’t see any viable challenges to her appearing on the horizon.
