How about a small sign which states “Protester infused Soylent Green sold here”.

Direct Action Everywhere, huh?

Expand your concept of everywhere, will ya? I’ll bet there’s a few halal markets in Berkeley just waiting for your visit.

Sheesh. This is what you get when the lunatics from the Left run the city government.

...agreed to protest at the store only twice a year.

For only six months at a time.

So that all animals will be “happy, safe, and free”?

How does that work out in “nature,” where all animals are prey to carnivores, which rip flesh off of their still-living victims, which die in exhaustion, fear and pain?

What I would do if I were that butcher shop owner, I would ascertain from the animal rights protesters what two dates they were coming to protest, and I would set up a barbecue grill outside the store and offer free steak sandwiches to all of the protesters as a thank you for their community “service.”

There was some tv personality who cried over people eating eggs because they were... aborted chickens.

Arrest them for playing at protection racket. Give them the biggest baddest animals as cellmates.

How long before other activist groups and individuals hit this store with their demands? It’s not as though anyone one “animal rights” group can speak for and control all of the loony left.

Those eggs aren’t really ‘embryos’ or ‘newborns’, unless a poppa rooster plays some Barry White music and nests with a momma chicken. So when you raise chickens for eggs, you usually keep the roosters away...Keeps down on the beaks and soggy feathers.

If God didn’t want us to eat animals, he wouldn’t have made them so tasty.

Each year we deliverer several deer to out local butcher. He takes them and turns them into delectable fare to eat.

I live in the countryside on several acres. The Texas Game and Wildlife Commission survey the deer population every year. They issue enough deer tags to insure the deer population remains at its prime relative to food supply.

The hunter is the deers best friend. If not for the hunter the population would endure over population and then starvation. When they are starving and week they are taken by predators in a most gruesome manner.

We are ethical hunters. It is either a shot right behind the ear or a heart shot dependent on distance. If behind the ear they know nothing and are dead when the hit the ground. If a heart lung shot they may run a few yards. This is far more humane than what the coyotes will do to the deer. They taste great.

ps
Ethical hunters such as we abhor and hate hunters that are not ethical and illegal in their hunting. We will turn them in the Texas Game and Wildlife Commission in a heart beat.
Fortunately they are few.

ps ps
The Texas Game and Wildlife Commission does a fantastic job and are the hunters best friend as we are their best friend. We are on the same side when it comes to hunting and game management!

I cut up my own meat. I dont want my meat mixed in anyway with equipment that has been used to cut up the meat from others.

They sanitize it but...

You are exactly right. There is no excuse for cruelty: exposing the animals to avoidable stress, fear, and pain. But ethical hunters and ethical farmers and butchers of meat animals who do it “the right way” are doing these animals no wrong.
