China pledges neutrality unless US strikes North Korea first

China’s government drew a line in the sand Friday, saying it would remain neutral if North Korea attacks the U.S. but would defend its Asian neighbor if the U.S. strikes first, Chinese state media reported.

The Chinese response follows a week filled with a number of hot-headed proclamations between North Korea and the U.S.

On Wednesday, North Korea released a statement saying it would follow through with a plan to launch four missiles toward the U.S. territory of Guam by mid-August Meanwhile, other Asia-Pacific countries have come out in support of the United States. Japan’s defense minister, Itsunori Onodera, said this week that his nation’s military was ready to shoot down North Korean missiles if necessary.

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said Thursday that a war with North Korea would be “catastrophic,” following President Trump’s string of warnings to the rogue nation.

“Thank you, free traitors, for conning us into paying for their military instead of ours.”

“Us” means you are including yourself. But you were not conned. But you also buy Chinese.

Buying Chinese is unavoidable. Instead of attacking me for the stupid free trade deals that made it impossible to avoid funding China’s war machine, why don’t you join me in fighting back (with our consumer $$$) against the globalists who got us into this mess?

Do you want to support the Chinese military at the expense of ours? Are you doing that when you buy products manufactured in China or with Chinese made parts? There’s the con.

The only good thing about a hot war with China/DPRK is it will kill “Free Trade” with China forever!

I am not in favor of trading with China just becsue I have been forced to buy Chinese crap. I am in favor of cutting all trade with China. So temporarily there will be some shortages of durable goods. So what, it is a small price to pay. Domestic industry will be built up soon enough employing millions OF AMERICANS!

Not true, Russia has a small border with NK. They also do not want a wave of refugees.

They are not entirely out of it.

Having said that, the real negotiations should be with China not NK.

China will side with North Korea if we strike first but will remain neutral if they strike first.

This is China’s way of telling the US that retaliation against NK is acceptable.

I understand that buying Chinese imports supports the Chinese military but who is being conned? You said the free traitors conned us. I don’t think anyone has been conned. Yet you are still buying Chinese.

How have you been forced to buy Chinese crap? You can cut your own trade with China anytime you wish.

There are certain car parts only made in China. I think all flat screens are Made in China. There are many many other products like that. A simple tariff of 10% would solve the problem. You could have your trade with the Communists you love so much and the USA could protect its workforce from competing with third world labor.

I have no idea what you’re hoping to accomplish with this “it depend on what the meaning of conned is”, but I’ll let the readers decide.

After stating “conned us” you say you were not conned but you are still buying Chinese. I am trying understand who was conned.

So you will buy Chinese so long as you can pay the US Federal government 10%. A few arguments ago you said the number was 25%.

But either way you will trade China.

But hey keep up the accusations and name calling its quite persuasive.

Who was conned? you claimed “us” was “conned” by Free Traitors”. Those rascally Free Traitors must be geniuses to trick all the unsuspecting masses who no one can even identify. Did you believe those promises made by the Free Traitors?

At least you weren’t conned and you only buy Chinese when you have to.

Central_VA will trade with the Chinese so long as the Fed gets 10%.

Buy you are buying Chinese and no one is forcing you to do it.
