China pledges neutrality unless US strikes North Korea first

China’s government drew a line in the sand Friday, saying it would remain neutral if North Korea attacks the U.S. but would defend its Asian neighbor if the U.S. strikes first, Chinese state media reported.

The Chinese response follows a week filled with a number of hot-headed proclamations between North Korea and the U.S.

On Wednesday, North Korea released a statement saying it would follow through with a plan to launch four missiles toward the U.S. territory of Guam by mid-August Meanwhile, other Asia-Pacific countries have come out in support of the United States. Japan’s defense minister, Itsunori Onodera, said this week that his nation’s military was ready to shoot down North Korean missiles if necessary.

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said Thursday that a war with North Korea would be “catastrophic,” following President Trump’s string of warnings to the rogue nation.

Did you believe those promises made by the Free Traitors?

Point taken, no I didn't, but they got their way so I got stuck with it anyway.

You seem to contradict yourself with these statements.

At least you weren’t conned and you only buy Chinese when you have to.

vs.

Buy you are buying Chinese and no one is forcing you to do it.

The only way I can avoid funding the Chinese military is to live in a cave, and hunt for my food and clothing. As soon as I get sick, my money will be going to hospitals that use Chinese made equipment or equipment with Chinese made parts anyway, so even with that extreme example, I can't avoid it.

There is no way we can get 100%, but we can influence manufacturing decisions by who we give the profits to. I hope you'll forgive me for trying encourage manufactures to build here by buying products made here. Of course I'm being sarcastic, as I infer you agree with me on that part, regardless of whether we think this was a con.

I agree completely.

America (badly) has completely sold out to China.

We really, really need to stand up for America once again. We will see whether Trump will do that.

Nobody else, in either party, seems inclined to support American manufacturing once again.

BOTH parties are completely sold out. Everyone.

The solution to the problem would be a Chinese engineered “unfortunate aircraft accident” that takes out Kim and whatever remains of his dynasty. Then a hand selected, by Beijing, replacement put in place. The regime in China need only look back to their country’s history with family dynasties, most recently with how Madame Mao and the Gang of Four were dealt with, to see what needs to be done.
