Good day on my end, nothing special happened.

How are your books doing?

Books aren’t doing much. Haven’t had much time for selling or writing; however, that should end in about one month. Get the fireplace thingy done, and that’ll be in for big project for a couple years (fingers crossed).

It’s been a pretty good day beachie. We are having an early fall; low humidity, temps in the 70s. A very nice night to cook out and sit with Mrs. henkster on the deck.

We are worried about Mrs. henkster’s family in Texas with the hurricane. Her sister lives in Port Lavaca and is under an order to evacuate. Our thoughts are with her.

Oh my goodness.....I’ve been nose to the grindstone and the hurricane thread all day. I just looked at my watch and it is 5:15p. Sorry I’m late.

My brother and his wife live in Houston, and nieces live in Kingwood and New Caney. The hurricane looks nasty!!! They are prepping.

The Texas coast south of Houston is flat as a pool table and very dry this time of year. Dump 15” of rain, and it’s all going to run off with nowhere to go....

All I’ve heard so far is lots of rain coming down. Nothing so far from New Tex Girl. New Tex Girl should be safe, her Mom knows the NEO Rules by heart.

I saw some post a photo of standing water after Hurricane Allison passed through. So, I imagine it can be bad.

Still busy with home projects here. Almost done for the year, and will concentrate on finishing painting the chainlink fence once the weather is cooler; then, back to writing and crocheting.
