Missouri Lt. Gov. Mike Parson informed a state Democratic lawmaker who threatened President Trump’s life to resign by September 13 or the state Senate will move to expel her.
Parson, a former sheriff who also serves as the president of Missouri’s State Senate, pointed to a section of the Missouri Constitution that relates to penalties for lawmakers guilty of “contempt and disorderly conduct.”
Missouri Democratic State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal called for the assassination President Donald Trump last week in a Facebook post that stated: “I hope Trump is assassinated!” during an exchange with a left-wing activist who claimed a family relative was a Secret Service agent.
According to The Springfield News Leader, Parson stipulated that Chappelle-Nadal must resign by September, the date of the upcoming veto session, or deal with expulsion from the Senate.

It takes 23 votes to expel her and there are 25 Republicans so I’d say she’s toast. On the other hand nothing prevents her from running for the same seat in the special election to fill the vacancy.
She's the creme de la creme floated to the top of the scum bucket, the best they have.
She's from north county St. Louis County. Her district includes Ferguson, Berkely, Hazlewood, and similar municipalities.

All the Republicans and most of the Democrats will vote for expulsion because they don't want to have her hanging around their neck as McCaskill runs for re-election.
MO should kick her sorry ass out of the state....totally out.

I don’t think that she should be expelled. That will only make her a martyr for the Democrats.
She might be expelled, run again and get reelected only to be dumped again by the standing elected members. She indeed, is toast.
As I see it, the real problem comes after she’s dumped will be the “Black Lives Matter” idiots who want things their way, election and laws be damned.
