White is the New Black
There was a shameful period in post-Civil-War America -- that war undertaken to rid us of a heinous national moral outrage, slavery -- in which the freed slaves were treated incredibly poorly. Denied opportunities, facing racism throughout the land, these African-Americans suffered indignity after indignity. They were denied access to good schools, or, sometimes, any education at all. They were passed over for all but the most menial jobs. The legal system was especially harsh to them. Welfare and other forms of government aid were shoved at them, in the effort to buy their votes and keep the largest percentage of them dependent and unmotivated to achieve. They were not permitted access to public facilities.
This began to be remedied in the 1960s, most notably with the Civil Rights act of 1964. As time passed, racism was more and more discouraged. Groups like the Ku Klux Klan began to diminish in influence and importance. Those who were trained by their parents to be racists since birth began to pass on. Things began to brighten for people of color. More and more opportunities became available. More and more wealth began to be accumulated by those who were motivated to pursue it.
But now, we find ourselves in a time when the very victims of this degrading and unacceptable racial treatment seem to be embracing racism directed at Caucasians. The American left has continuously pushed the idea -- in both government and institutions of learning -- that the very act of BEING white is a sinful thing, and something which must be punished.
I ask you: Does this not fit the very definition of racism? A white person is judged to be of negative character and worthy of poor treatment, because of their race?
Witness the many acts of the American left that is intended to chastise and punish whites for the color of their skin:
I shall close by paraphrasing the immortal words of the Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King:
I don’t have a crystal ball, but at that point they may just migrate to northern Europe or Canada. Not that they don’t have “diversity”, but Mother Nature seems to intervene to keep useless people from that climate.
Interesting. Of course, there goes the USA, the greatest country that ever existed, but that’s probably inevitable, anyway.
I’ve never had issues with minority co-workers (and I have plenty), but the animus has definitely grown over the past decade. Whatever happens in the office, in the cafeteria it is nearly complete segregation by race. When you attend a funeral for a minority co-worker’s relative, and you are the only white person there, you can assume that co-worker has no white friends (which is fine with me, just very telling). Years ago blacks would complain that promotions were given to non-blacks; now they complain about the hiring of each and every employee (often because they are Hispanic instead of black).
It is all reversible with birthrate; the Hispanics happen to be overwhelming because there is a steady stream of reinforcements arriving daily. The countries they are fleeing are being left to the “white Hispanic” Creoles...
The nut jobs always get the airtime. But this isn't always a bad thing. Candidly, I think Trump landed a knockout punch by talking about the alt left and their clubs...the press has been slobbering subsequently all over the Antifa, but in the process most normal Americans are recoiling in horror from these philosophical cousins of the KKK.
If we're lucky, the American Renaissance lot and Antifa will send each other to the hospital and leave us normal folk alone. In the meantime, work is required but chiefly, in my opinion, in our daily interactions, and with our kids (and I don't not mean in a Hillary/Village sense). In essence, point out the moral equivalence of the racists on both sides. And do not let up or equivocate. I can't change the world, but the ripple effect of changing one or two hearts and minds could be awesome.
By most accounts, at the time of the Revolution, 20% were Loyalists, 33-45% were Patriots, and the rest were ballast. If you replace Loyalist with statist, and Patriots with Deplorables, we are right where we started. AND YET...I see a future. As did everyone along the journey in the US. You gotta have faith, and a serious assessment of the situation. And nerves of steel.

We tell ourselves so many many many lies
Everyone knows Truth. It simply needs to be defended.
I believe, in part, this is why Trump and his retinue keep using Twitter and rallies to remind we Deplorables - of ALL COLORS - that, indeed, there's more of us than them, and to not despair. Our steadfast and visible defense of all that is good and right is a partial antidote to this social virus. Everyone wants to win, and one can only hope that further winning will help turn these misguided souls to the side of freedom and liberty and Truth.
Many people confuse racism with bigotry. Bigotry is the hate of something that you do not approve of. Racism is systematic. That is to say racism is the cop that lets me go because I have white skin; where he would otherwise punish someone else. Racism is alive and well in the Untied States. Racism is also a force applied to a minority not a majority. Reverse bigotry exists yes, but by definition reverse racism cannot exist. Only the group that is in majority can systematically apply racism. Whites are not in my observation denied opportunities because of the color of their skin. The white race did not even exist untill 1682. Look into Bacon's Rebellion, the financially elite invented the concept of being white to cause division between the poor whites and minorities. They realized the poor where growing tired of feeling oppressed so they invented a great distraction. Before Bacon's rebellion people thought of themselves as being of whatever nationality their ancestors belonged too. The caucasion people quickly adopted the thnking that they were somehow different than others because by law the became different. The United States allowed only white people to immigrate. Indian people were not citizens and blacks only counted for 3/5 of a citizen (and only if they were not immigrants). If your group is empowered and you feel oppressed how must it be for a minority? Can you imagine being told all your life to be a man, but when someone tries to intimidate you instead of being a man for standing your ground you are told you are a typical criminal or a hood rat? For every point you make in your article of bigotry against whites you can find another point of bigotry toward blacks, latinos and native americans. It is time for a more honest appraisal of the society you live in.And my response back:
Then we will need a third word, because bigotry only means "intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself." I hold that we can do away with the third word, and speak of 'insitutional racism' and 'personal racism', instead.
If you reread my editorial with the word racism meant to speak of that personal racism, it comes back into clear focus what I am saying, and it is much more likely you will agree.
For the record, I do agree with the problem of institutional racism, and understand that it is still quite prevalent.

The democRATS were the party of slavery. DemocRats fought a war to maintain it. DemocRats started the KKK to keep blacks down. DemocRats started the “Great Society” to destroy the black family, lock blacks into poverty and govt dependency and to keep them voting DemocRAT. Blacks are STILL slaves to democRATS.
