Marysville, WA is not exactly in the Seattle area...

35-38 miles north of Seattle. We lived in nearby Smokey Point.

Forty years ago...Marysville would have been a town by itself...outside of the shadow of Seattle.

In the past forty years, the shadow encompassed Marysville and you might as well refer to it as Seattle-North. It’s like talking about Tacoma...you don’t even notice where the city lines meet. In another forty years, Tacoma will be referred to as a suburb of Seattle.

Never said it was. The only thing I mentioned was there’s one in Snohomish at the airport there (and Snohomish is about twenty miles south of Marysville).
