CBS never lies.
Not surprising. I recall reading in Bernard Goldberg’s book “Bias” in which he discusses Fidel’s meeting with The Dan back sometime in the 1990s. Dan gave him a personal tour of CBS’ executive offices in New York and got all palsy walsy with him like a long lost brother and gave him an autographed baseball bat. This was one of the more creepier parts of the book, IMHO.
Those Communists are very badly off. Don’t get why the MSN tries to make them look better off than they really are.
Castro broadcasting System. everything is peachy in the workers paradise. Shelves are full and healthcare is plentiful. Compared to Cuba, the USA is poorly run with people dropping dead in the streets due to lack of doctors. Cant find even basic staples here. Long lines for Toilet paper. VIVA CUBA...
“Cuba normally gears up quickly for storms with constant advisories on TV and radio urging people to prepare. The Civil Defense, run by a general and the military, jumps into action to evacuate people and animals from low-lying areas, to move food supplies to higher ground, harvest crops quickly and distribute the monthly food rations to people before the storm hits.”
Oh, these journalists know their trade well! They added words that don’t belong there: “quickly,” “constant,” “jumps into action,” “quickly before the storm hits.”
They have nothing but love and admiration for a communist dictatorship which takes away freedom and suppresses dissent.
If they had been talking about Trump, they would have added the words “sluggish response,” “uncertain leadership,” “inconsistent” and “barely able to meet the needs of a suffering people.”
F*ck the media.
Ahhh...the wonders of utopian communism. Food Ration Cards your entire life...the sure cure for obesity.
In the last week or so, I’ve seen promos for various CBS news shows. Apparently their new slogan is ‘Real News’. I couldn’t help but laugh when I heard that.
Let’s ask those leftist actresses why Hurricane Irma is going through Cuba. Also God’s revenge? Revenge for what, Miss Oscar Nominee? Take your time.
I wonder if there was a single cigar lit, outside, in all of the land.
A young Cuban-American was on Fox & Friends this morning saying that he called a relative in Havana and asked if they would be alright when the hurricane hit Cuba. The relative’s response: “What hurricane?” The weather last night through this morning must have come as a shock to those tourists foolish enough to go to Cuba for some beach time.
Oops. No. No, wait. There's no food rationing in Cuba. Those responsible for that misnformation have been sacked.
I just hope Gitmo is ok. Gonna need it.
Cuba- One of those places where the before and after hurricane pictures look pretty much the same.
Great. So since Cuba is so well prepared they are on their own. No need for help after.
Thank you for clarifying this CBS.
How benevolent.
C BS
The part about they “harvest crops quickly” too funny. Gotta love the coincidence of crops magically ready to harvest at the same time a hurricane blows in.
Every time a hurricane hits Communist Cuba, it creates about $5 billion in improvements.
