Trump administration backs bill to halt aid to Palestinians

The Trump administration declared its firm support Thursday for a bill that would suspend U.S. financial assistance to the Palestinian Authority until it ends what critics have described as a long-standing practice of rewarding Palestinians who kill Americans and Israelis.

The State Department announcement comes nearly six weeks after the Senate Foreign Relations Committee backed the measure. The legislation, which is named after an American who was stabbed to death in Israel by a Palestinian, reflects bipartisan outrage over what lawmakers have termed a “pay to slay” program endorsed by the Palestinian Authority.

“The Trump administration strongly supports the Taylor Force Act, which is a consequence of Palestinian Authority and Palestine Liberation Organization’s policy of paying terrorists and their families,” the State Department said.

The department added that President Donald Trump “raised the need to end any part of this program that incentivizes violence against Israeli and American citizens with President Mahmoud Abbas last May in both Washington and Bethlehem.” …

Certainly a good bill in that it clearly condemns palestinian incitement. May have some impact. Among the most recent amendments the removal of a Presidential waiver for "national security" is a plus. For those who think this may reduce funding, note II 3 and 4, which clearly allow funding benefiting the "palestinian people", as well as the statement that we've already been doing this since 2015. This is what brought "strong" supporters of Israel like Corrie Booker on board. If the PA can develop the skills to move fungible funds around, to accounts other than personal Swiss accounts, the financial impact will likely be minimal.

So now we are ready to cut off funding because they actually killed an American! We should have done it years ago because they have wanted to kill us for eons. Obama feared Trump would stop the aid to the Paliestinians so he wrote them a $400-million check on his way out the door. Trump should have done this six months ago.

Pouring money down the Palestinian rat hole has done nothing for us. Use that money to rebuild Texas and Florida!

You won’t hear that crap from me, that’s for sure.

President Trump was not my front-runner but good God anyone who’d have rather seen She Who Must Not Be Named as POTUS can feel free to shoot themselves.

We should halt all aid to everyone, then reinstate it only where it provides a clear, provable benefit to the United States. We should reduce federal taxation accordingly. People can then afford charity for those they wish to help, and are not stuck giving to those they don’t care about or even detest.

Was the money from the American Treasury given to the Palestinians, used to reward the families of men who murdered American citizens like Taylor Force?

There oughta be a law...

No matter what it looks like or how bizarre it gets, President Trump is the one selected from Above to take down the Establishment.

That much ought to be obvious to anyone who watched the election process.

Satan isn’t going quiety, and the president isn’t a king, so he’s stuck dealing with all the malevolent operatives who have been sitting pretty in their seats of power.

Obama = serpent
