2.8 in ALBION, ILLINOIS

Pretty far south of me in the Chicago burbs but it looks like it was actually a 3.8

And a big part of it is built on unstable land fill.

Per KCAL TV in L A, the quake came on the very day which resident of Mexico City were going through earthquake drills.

And the drills were today because this is the anniversary of the 1985 quake.

Maybe God doesn’t think we are being good stewards of his creation. Causing mass extinctions, acidifying the seawater, etc. The bible says we should be stewards of the earth and it’s life forms. Don’t remember the exact place but have read it.

🤔🌋. Well, according to world renowned geo-physicist beyonceh, yes AGW is a major contributer to erf quakes due to geologic expansion from overheating. Ignore the volcano in the area.👹

Give this a try. See them all over the planet. Zoom in or out. You can even see whether there were earthquakes on the opposite side of the planet at the same time.

Earthquake 3D

I think that’s the New Madrid Fault. There has been more than usual activity in that area recently.

Do our so brilliant scientists currently moonlighting as actors, singers, talk show hosts, Hollyweirdos and professional athletes believe that the recent earthquakes are a karmic punishment against Mexico? Did Mexico also pull out of the Paris Climate Accord?

That is true. I don’t say we aren’t doing damage to the earth. But that doesn’t mean we’re creating climate change. He did tell us to subdue it, of course. And I believe he put resources in the earth for us to use, and gave us geniuses to discover ways to use them. But, before any of that took place, there were earthquakes. There’s no way there won’t be, given the way the continents were formed.

Mexico City is particularly vulnerable because the city was on TOP of what was once the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan. As such, the soil is extremely vulnerable to causing earthquake damage by liquefaction.
