At least one woman was shot and killed and several others were wounded on Sunday when a gunman opened fire inside a Tennessee church, Nashville police said.
Nashville police received calls about a shooting at Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in Antioch just after 11 a.m., officials told Fox News. The church is about 30 minutes southeast of Nashville.

Joseph Pleasant, a spokesman for the Nashville Fire Department, confirmed at least six people were shot and taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries were unclear at this time, but everyone except for one victim was over the age of 60.
Another person was pistol-whipped and taken to the hospital, officials said.
The shooter was also shot and taken into custody, the fire department wrote on Twitter.
The article says it was a “mass casualty situation” and that the shooter was shot.
I wonder if the cops shot him or if a churchgoer was carrying and did it.

Nashville also has a large Muslim population.

Murfreesboro is not too far away. Murfreesboro has a new Islamic Center that the locals tried to stop from being built. Seems they were afraid of terrorism being imported.

At my church the guy would have never got a second shot. Maybe not a first if he was unfamiliar. I am pretty sure more carry than don’t.

Church attendee retrieved his gun from car, came back into church with it. At that point shooter shot himself, and is hospitalized. He was from Murfreesboro, the location of a large mosque.

These churches really need to beef up security, particularly when located near Muslim centers.

Shooter down
A man confronted the gunman at one point and was pistol-whipped, causing “significant injury around his head.” He told police he then went to his own car, grabbed a pistol and headed back into the church. The gunman then shot himself.
The gunman, said to be in his 20s, was taken to the hospital and is under police surveillance. He is expected to survive.
Muslims murdered three thousand sixteen years ago and our government responded by bringing in a million more muslims.
Yes, look at those photos and realize what a nice clean cut group of non-threatening people those are. They are a cross section of the nation. They all worship together, loving each other.
It just boggles the mind to know that someone would be so incensed against them, to want to kill as many as possible of them.

The perps were almost all involved in the guest education program. (most from Saudi Arabia)
There were between 15-20,000 of them in country on 09/11/2001.
Subsequent to 09/11/2001, the Bush administration signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia to expand that program to in excess of 30,000.
Now I’m not as big a detractor of Saudi Arabia as some other are, but this was diabolically devious.
We can’t keep tabs on 30,000 students.

Strangely, the Omission Commission omitted that, I don’t think they even named the Hamburg cell’s imam. The mosque was so notorious in Germany that they changed its name.
Atta the hijacker leader, though not a Syrian, was a member of the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood as well according to early reports.
Chaplain Yee was educated in Damascus Syria’s main mosque and was implanted in the US military through the muslim association that got geared up for training chaplains in the 90s after Clinton opened the door. He later got caught trying to smuggle intel and names, maps of Gitmo and the prison, who was in what cell info and other prisoner information out of the country- to Syria.
