I think raiderboy is trying to make the point that “a sovereign state of “people” who on the one hand demand statehood but who on the other hand will not distribute the over whelming assistance we are giving them, and who criticize our President at such a crucial time while he is busting his tail to help them, and who has prominent politicians laying down on the job in the name of politics............ are simply not the a “state” that our country should consider granting statehood to..................to say nothing of the fact that their socialist government is in dire financial straits.
I was amazed at Mayor Cruz’ whining that “there’s no leadership,” a phrase she repeated several times. Apparently Mayor Cruz doesn’t see the office of mayor as a leadership position.
