Why don’t NFL players just burn the flag?

What protesting NFL players and owners should do next is burn the American flag before each game.

This would naturally come after the playing of the national anthem is banned from all NFL games.

The NFL could replace the anthem with a song from Beyoncé, for instance.

Or, to listen to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady talk about love and unity among protesting teammates, maybe something from the Captain & Tennille would be more appropriate.

On the kneeling or interlocking arms as a form of protest, Brady said, “I just think there’s just a great love for my teammates.

The more poundings Brady takes, the more contorted rationalizations he makes. Soon he won’t be able to say anything coherent at all. The NFL has gone down the rabbit hole. Lewis Carroll was prescient. The privileged and content often do go crazy. Down is indeed up for them.

Brady said, “I just think there’s just a great love for my teammates.”

Now if we could only get all this “love” translate into wins on the field. Haha!

Call it what you want, this behavior of just a form of thumbing your nose and shouting out “Kiss my ***! at the fans.

Nobody needs that kind of abuse.

Because burning the flag would melt the playing surface and that’s far more important to them than any dumb piece of cloth.

(I’m being sarcastic of course)

Here’s video of how I burn flags...with respect http://foxbaltimore.com/news/local/formal-flag-retirement-ceremony-teaches-boy-scouts-american-flag-has-respect-due-to-it

My contention is, why don't they just kneel during the game. Team unity and all. Just pick one play and everyone kneel on offense or defense.

Oh wait, that would impact the game, you say? Well, what's more important -- the country or a game?

One of the more stupid ones might try it, but I think they’re contemplating how to back out of this fiasco without “losing face” with their supporters, i.e. ANTIFA, BLM, etc.

They’ve jumped the shark, and need a graceful dismount so as to not be eaten.

Just keep up the pressure, and as the NFL, the Owners, Managers, and players start feeling the financial pinch, they’ll come home, wagging their tails behind them.

The two creeps who sat during the National Anthem should be tossed out. Even after an emotional moment of silence for the murdered in LV, they sat. It’s not that their skin is black it’s their souls are black, and that has absolutely nothing to do with skin.

I’m sick of giving evil a pass

Brady knows that if he doesn’t suck up to these cretans, the offensive line on every play evaporates, and HIS rear end is toast....just like the team who reportedly took a dive this past weekend and threw their game.

Who knew Brady was such a wuss? Why do these guys feel compelled to talk to the media about this? If they were smart, they’d keep their mouths shut and play for their huge paychecks.

I think it was said no NFL players did these protests during Obama’s administration but didn’t Kaepernick take a knee or sit on the bench last year? This year he’s not on any team. But players have followed with their own protests, entire teams etc and it does arise during the Trump years to protest him.

Didn’t the anti war protests stop or get less frequent when Obama took office? And suddenly the “homeless” must have gotten housing. Obama got a peace prize for doing nothing. They wouldn’t do same for Trump?

Why don’t they refuse to play until their demands are meet?

Let them “put their money where their mouths are.”
