This won’t end at nursing homes.

They have set up precedence for this type of law.

It will go all the way, everywhere, anyone.

What about the 80 year old lady who doesn’t WANT some old guys using the women’s restroom? Doesn’t she have any rights?

I can’t wait until someone is sentenced to prison on this law, and appeals the conviction to the SCOTUS.

also known as the “Forcing Sane People to Say Insane and Untrue Things” bill.

No way would this law survive in the Federal courts.

There are several problem with this law. It’s been fought at the supreme Court level that people do NOT loose their civil rights when they walk through the doors of an institution. Jay Seculow won the cases where religious rights were being nullified by state schools. Furthermore, the
Federal Attorney General declared only yesterday that employment anti discrimination laws in the work place don’t apply to trans genders in the workplace.

I do hope action is taken against this law because the civil Rights of all are being improperly nullified for the preference of a few. Reverse discrimination.

"Forcing someone to use a certain form of speech: how is this not unconstitutional?"

It's clearly a violation of the first amendment. Another's delusion does not dictate my reality.

Well, you can’t destroy the 2nd amendment without destroying the 1st. And these people won’t stop until both are gone!

I’m just glad there are no pressing issues here in CA for the legislature and governor to deal with so they can spend time keeping us safe with laws like this.....

The only reason any of this stands - the sexual orientation, gender identity discrimination - is due to one executive order amendment 13087 that must be undone.
